That is a strange question.
The Quran permits at least 4 wives.

None.
In fact, none of the previous scriptures say anything about limiting the man to one wife.
During the first years of Christianity, multiple marriages were still around.
Only much later did people add the rule of not marrying more than one.
The original Bible said nothing about the number of women that should be married. This was added later on.
Thus, this makes the Quran, a lot more advanced in terms of bringing and open solution to a sociological phenomenon.

The bible says to have only one wife. 1 Tim. 3:1-5 states...If any man is reaching out for an office of overseer, he is desirous of a fine work. 2 The overseer should therefore be irreprehensible, a husband of one wife, moderate in habits, sound in mind, orderly, hospitable, qualified to teach, 3 not a drunken brawler, not a smiter, but reasonable, not belligerent, not a lover of money, 4 a man presiding over his own household in a fine manner, having children in subjection with all seriousness; 5 (if indeed any man does not know how to preside over his own household, how will he take care of God’s congregation?)

The Holy Bible.
1. Exodus 20:14
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
21. Mark 10:11
And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
And oh yeah, it's in the Quran??? so why do so many muslims practice polygamy??

None... Alhamdulillah... only Islam has complete way of wife.. Marital, spiritual, inheritance, women's rights... everything. Only in Qur'an is the phrase "marry only one"... No other religious scripture has it... It is much later that respective countries' laws established the rule of having more than one wife as wrong.
People!

Well the mormons don't seem to have a problem with multiple wives. I wonder why they don't allow multiple husbands though?
Hmmm...

if God forbid having more than one wife, he would done it with Abraham, David, and Solomon. God allowed polygamy, and he has wisdom behind this.
