This might be a silly question but does a dogs heart beat the same as ours>?

no ...never i/...i dont thik=n so...they r faster than ours

Yes, they have a four chamber heart like ours. Heart rate depends on size, smaller dogs are slightly faster than larger dogs. Average rate is between 80-140, dogs who are very active like hunting dogs can have lower heart rates when resting.

No faster and a dog's heart has less chambers, I believe.

Yes, but their heartrate is usually a slight bit faster at rest than our own. (been a veterinary technician for 7 years :) )

"MIGHT be silly"??? Yep,sure is.
ALL hearts work the same;even reptile & bird & insects!

They may have differeing sizes & number of chambers but that's IT! Hearts are just "muscle-pumps"!

i think it beats a bit faster actually !! it needs to so it can be able to run at the speed they do...
