i take advantage of vista and there is particularly no problems as long as you replace residing house windows at the instant and function stable antivirus undercover agent ware ---- > as with the the remainder of residing house windows. the only situation ppl have with vista is that its no longer backwards like minded along with your older utility/hardware so till its an extremely massive product or is enormously new youre probable gonna could improve your stuff. additionally whilst it includes vista and XP in case you attempt to purchase a working laptop or pc with XP youre going to be paying extra effective than you could for a working laptop or pc with crappy specs whilst in comparison with vista. If youre paying for a sparkling pc pass with vista because of the fact its the destiny and XP is going to be supported much less and much less vs vista that's getting a provider %. in early 2008

I have a laptop of Sony visio, pre installed with Vista & On my PC is Win XP SP2 and their is no comparison of both the os. Win XP SP2 is very very superior to vista, in performence as well as in stablity right now. But may be after a year or so when every pot hole in software will be patched than vista will become also stable & good performer. So it is advisable to buy vista after one & a half years. It is the charecterestic feature of Microsoft. Than problem is over no it's not because as MS release new aplication in real 64 bit than vista as well as XP will face symetrical problem. So moral of story is MS user will never become trouble free.

If Windows Vista works, then Expand your RAM to about 2GB and it will speed up significantly. Visit http://www.coastmemory.com and look up your system.
They should never have sold new computers with Vista and only 512MB of RAM.
Basically XP is faster with more experience and bug fixes. In about a year, Vista should get better, but still need more RAM.
Your time STOPS now!
Good luck and Happy Computing!

I'm using both XP and Ubuntu in my computer.
My friend has vista, and found that some of his softwares won't work.
Compare Vista vs XP, XP is better. It can run almost everything.
And if you installing good firewall (such as Zone alarm), XP have better security than Vista with it default firewall.

well, i like Vista better in some ways and some ways i like XP, Vista uses too much ram i think but i also like that it has a search on the start area, i used to use Vista but it was a beta version and it was kinda buggy, but i also run games with it and for example Oblivion ran better with Vista then XP i think and also i think that the widgets are pretty cool too. its a little bit fancier, but i don't think its worth 200+ dollars.
windows XP loads allot quicker, less secure, no widgets, i don't know its just something with vista that i like then xp

Vista. I have yet to have any issues, and I bought it a few days after it's launch. My laptop is only 6-7 months old though, and when I bought it, it said it was 'Vista Capable'.
Good luck!
