We call each other and talk on the phone, and she still smiles and winks at me whenever i see her, she knows i like her, she is single...I dont Know what to do?

It depends why you broke up in the first place - Soemtimes things are not the same second time around and you cannot rekindle what was - if you used to communicate well have a good physical chemistry and respect each other then stop mucking about and take her out on a mystery date - send her one red rose and maybe put a note on it saying that she still has a special place in your heart and you would like to meet up. If she's not game move on and meet that girl of your dreams...

Leave it like it is. Maybe she's just using you or keeping you close to her to use you whenever she needs you again later on. I wouldn't risk staying that close to her. If she winks and smiles in your presence, but divorced from you, you should know that something isn't right. Move on and find somebody else. Maybe you will see her true behaviour once she sees that you are all grown up and not dependant on her attention towards you. The chance is big that she will freak out once you date somebody else. Move on with your life.

Wow, make it exciting. Ask her out and do something that really rocks. I am talking about an ex-girlfriend. She knows you, so you have to mix it up to find out if the chemistry is flowing still.
Suggestion:
Women like a change.
Ask her if she will go to the movies with you (no intention of taking her of course) If she says ok...it's time for something big...an incredible night/day to remember.
If you make yourself so damn different for one day...it may last a lifetime.
Would she expect you to take her up in a hot air balloon?
Could she imagine taking her to the movies and all the sudden you end up at the airport: ready to go sky diving?
Or, just maybe:
You take her shopping and give her a gift certificate to by anything of her choice at Victoria Secrets, then do something awesome.
And remember, some women like things that you wouldn't know about:
Opera
Broadway Play
Concert (a big one)
This isn't about you...this is about her. If you know something she has always wanted to do....DO IT !!

che could be sincere though so ask her truthfully, cos u wnat her and ask her if she wants u, if she honestly sais yes (she could be playen still) but get back wit her - or if she sais shes playen which girls do do! back hand her!! lol. neway be carefull and try to MAKE HER admit it or otherwise

What's your definition of a girlfriend or ex-girlfriend? Why is that important to you?

you said so yourself she's your ex-GIRLfriend (she's a girl), which means all she can do is wait for you and kept praying to the good lord, that hopefully one day you'll have that guts to tell her you still love her... Give it a try, say this line " I love you still, how i wish you still feel the same, cause i want to have my rest of my life with you!" then, wait for her reaction... if she loves you still, I'm sure she'll come running towards your direction...

Be her friend, but just don't look for it to go any further. Chances are she will either come around and want to get back with you or she is just flirting with you to make you nuts because she knows that you like her.
