You may be on the way to being anorexic. However, I eat about what you do and I'm 152 pounds--a lot older though--over 50 and 5'4".

You may want to get counseling or speak with your school counselor or with your doctor.

I am not a professional psychiatrist, but yes, honey, it does sound like it.......very much! You are about the same height as Nicole Richie and Mary-Kate Olsen and are about the same weight as they were when they were plastered looking deathly skeletal all over the internet and magazines! However, if you are eating healthy (which is sounds like you're not) then that might be an OK weight if you exercise. It sounds like you really need to get professional help! If you don't, as I'm sure you know, you WILL eventually die of heart, liver and/or kidney failure! Other sure signs that you may have an eating disorder are: hair falling out, increased "fuzz" on your face, arms, legs, bad breath, rotting teath, teath breaking off, reddened gums and dry skin and hair. Another more serious sign is if you have an irregular heart beat! If that is happening, get to the DR!!! No joke!! I wish you well and hope you take this seriously!

My friend is alot like that, just not really hungry. Your height and weight too. I think being anorexic has more to do with you body image than with your eating habits. If you feel sick in the head, like you need to be thinner when you know everyone else weighs more. Then maybe you are. Also- I notice you live with parents. Food habits like yours are also a way of gaining control over your life. Thats what anoriexics trip out about most, is that THEY call the shots on when and where and what they eat. I know all this because until third grade I was like this. Either not eating, or only eating certain foods, and constatly thinking I was fat. I would even sit on the toilet and smush out my thigh to look much bigger so that in the back of my head I could say "there brain, see? I'm very fat and need to stop eating" So if stuff like that is going on for you then you ought to see a professional. If nothing else- maybe you will be motivated to eat more protein and fat if you knew that muscle keeps the fat off and if you don't feed the muscle properly all you will have left is "skinny fat". Some supermodels are classified as OBESE because of their lean muscle to fat ratio. Have you ever seen a woman say goodbye and her arm keeps waving? Then again...maybe you were born for a CR (calorie restricted) lifestyle and you will live to 108. Look into it... (CR)

You do have a problem if you don't eat. You need to give your body fuel. If you are insecure about your weight then there is a problem. If you don't eat much for a couple of days then pig out it defeats the purpose of trying to loose some pounds. But to deprive your body of necessary nutrients just makes you prone to illness and it doesn't make you look more beautifull. You should eat as much healthy food as you can and excesses. If you put on more weight your healthier. If you think your getting extra rolls, just push yourself to exercises some more.

Anorexia is not just a physical problem, but psychological as well. You have some characteristics, you need to eat more and establish a better body image before your eating habit would cause other symptoms like anemia, amenorrhea (absence of menses), and electrolyte imbalances.

You are on a dangerous road. If you don't stop it will get addicting and you won't be able to stop your suicidal actions. Tell your parents or speak to a counselor at school. Being thin isn't in. Guys like girls with meat on them, not to mention you keep this up, you will get a bad complexion and bad teeth. You need food to nurish all your bodily functions to be normal.

technically by your BMI(Body mass index) you are underweight. It seems like your are straving yourself, By definition you are not a full out anorexic but you certainly demonstrate some traits such as starvation and low body weight. NOT HEALTHY AT ALL!
