I have a presentation at 9.00 in the morning, but I am nervous and get an adrenaline rush from it.

How should I prepare ? Should I drink vodka beforehand to calm my nerves ? Should I smoke a cigarette (I quit smoking but it calms he down). What is the best way to prepare for it so that I do not project a lack of confidence ? Also I don't want to look drunk when I do it.

Don't drink before!! Trust me it doesn't work!!

Practice all day long, with breaks in between.
Just before you give your presentation tomorrow, do a series of Breathing exercises -- as you breathe in lift arms above head and stretch, lower slowly as you breathe out.

I know it sounds cliche but it works.

Very good luck to you, you'll be great

Remember that you know more than your audience do! It is after all your presentation. Ensure that you're well prepared, both mentally and physically - I do deep breathing for a couple of minutes before I present! If people interrupt you through your presentation, make a note of their questions and thank them for the enquiry, and that you'll answer it at the end of the presentation - and then make sure you do. I'm a smoker, but actually it won't physiologically calm you down - so don't start again, it's just not worth it! Good luck - you go get them - you'll be BRILLIANT.
