They get all self-righteous and act all high and mighty, as IF they (and they alone) are privy to the correct interpretation of Jesus' teachings.
Some ask "Do you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior?"
Well, let's see...maybe NO I DON'T. What If I want to accept Jesus as my "associate Savior"? Ever consider that possibility a**holes?!
What jerks!

CG: Yes, as a matter of fact...there is indeed a great need to be "rude". Or more appropriately "blunt". I'm not going to pull any punches just because it might hurt your widdle feewings. Thats the only way you b*stards will take the hint!

chuchufarley2a: Thank You! Yes, thanks...not for what you wrote....but because your self-serving diatribe is a perfect example of what I am takling about: "Start with the Book of Romans"....umm, WTF? Like, where did you get than non-sense? What if I want to start with the Book of Ezekial, specifically 25:17--->"And I will strike down with great vengance anf furious anger, those who will try to poison my brothers. And you will know that I am the Lord"
(thats my favorite one! thats why I carry a pistol, just in case someone f'cks with me)

The problem is anyone can call themselves anything. Jesus followers are usually a lot more quiet than those who you describe. Peace be with you.

theres no need to be rude
no one in this world is perfect, nor you, nor I, nor anybody else on this planet. Just because you didn;t like the Christians that you happened to meet, it doesn't mean that there aren't any decent ones in the world.
I just so happen to know a Christian family who are some of the nicesest people that i have ever met in my entire life. Also, I know a Hindu family who are lovley.
there is no need to insult ANY religion or the people of ANY religion. How would you like it if someone posted a question that personally insulted you huh?
think about other people's feelings before you post an insulting question on this site! I don;t think that people appreciate being called jerks because they are Christian!
If you can't say something nice, then you shouldn't say anything!
additional comment:
i feel sorry for you, i really do
if you say nice things, it will really benefit you!
where not all jerks ok
u have the wrong concept of christianity. the chrsitians you have met dont sound too great, but not all christians are like that! just because you have met a few bad ppl, doesn't mean that the whole world is bad
there are more good people than bad ppl
i think chuckufarley2a's comment is worthwhile thinking about...
-peace, i wasn't trying to start an argument!
i just wanted you to know that your comments could be hurtful to others
if you are angry, try turning that anger into positive energy, and do something for somebody else
you will feel much better

You are allowed to do anything you want, and accept Jesus in anyway you think fit, however, if the Christians that you are hanging around with are as you say, then, you're hanging with the wrong ones, and, they may not really be Christians. It's possible to be a christian, ie, one who professes to be a Christian, but, has never had the born-again experience. Without accepting Jesus as your savior, no matter how you want to describe it, I must inform you that, yes, you will go to hell... And, that's not me judging you, I'm sure you are a nice person, however, being nice and doing good is NOT what gets you into Heaven. The book of Romans is a very good place to start when you are ready to seek salvation. We call it the Roman Road, and, right now, I'm too lazy to go in and find the chapters and verses that will help you.
Good luck and God Bless.

I don't think it's quite right to group people together like that. I've got plenty of Christian friends (and family), and they're great. On the other hand, I know plenty of atheists who are complete jerks. And vice versa. So someone asks you an akward question - it's not really any reason to get pissed off. Just tell them you're not interested, and if they push the matter, make a quick exit. It's that simple.

As stated by technique of his answering zealots it may look so. Jim Jones' followers were also outspoken, psychological midgets. Obama is a good orator, regrettably so became Mao Zedong, Pol Pot, Peron, Hitler, Stalin, an as you reported cult leaders like Jones. those unhappy followers will proceed to attack or maybe inspite of the truth that human beings like Ferraro were lifeless on with their comments the denial will proceed as they war to exhibit how open minded their hypocrisy is.

We're not all jerks, y'know. There are decent Christian people out there and it's not quite fair to lump us all in. But perhaps this subject has more, make that a LOT more, to do with your personal attitude toward Christianity in general. If so, then I shan't trouble you with my speeches.

partly because jesus didn't come for the perfect, but for those who need help.
Another reason is because Jesus often picked Donkeys, or if you choose older English Jack Asses, to help him. When he last went to Jerusalem he sent his followers to get a jack *** to carry him up to jerusalem... and jack asses have followed him and carried his will ever since.
It's truly amazing, but yes, God can even utilize creatures most would rather not deal with to accomplish some things. Donkeys can sometimes be a real pain.... but they can be obstinate enough to finish. And some of those who are Christians have a lot of growing to do... like me. ;-)

That's what free will attitudes can do, glory to me, I have merited heaven by controlling the Almighty and authorizing his work in my heart. Can't get any more self-righteous than that.

You are catching on. God was invented to serve man not what they preach. Money is associated with all religions. They don't need you if you don't pay admission. Right?

These people think they're going to heaven. If there was such a place they'd be the last to get in.
