I doubt that there will be substantial benefit in reducing the cargo content of the plane. Are you thinking that enough weight can be removed to permit the engines to gain altitude on the remaining fuel since they won't have to lift as much weight?
It depends on how much powered flying time remains before the engines stop when the fuel is exhausted. How quickly can the cargo be jettisoned.

Defiantly get rid of the unne. If you make it to the airport the unne could land you in jail.

Yes it will help, but you're talking about it will help if you'd otherwise land a few hundred feet from a suitable landing site. Per FAA regulations a pilot can toss out anything they think they need to as long as they aren't trying to hit someone.

The answer is no. first , if the airplane is a commercial one, you can't throw anything ( how are you going to do it???), only dump fuel when the pilot is ready for landing.

probably not, opening a door would ruin the aerodynamics qualitties of the plane only reducing the altitude more
