Washing powder can certainly effect skin and cause rashes. There are products for sensitive skins like ecover and surcare. Also, make sure, you don't overload the machine (or use too much powder), in order that the fabrics get a good rinsing - it's worth running the 'extra rinse' function to get all the detergent/chemicals out.

I have very sensitive skin and the slightest thing can bring me out in a rash. I never ever use biological washing powder. I always use Fairy Non Bio Washing Powder. You can also get it in liquid form if you prefer.

I have always had this problem as I have very sensitive skin & eczema.

The only washing powder that I can use is Bold.

Good Luck in trying to find one that suits your skin!

I used to have a nightmare with itchy skin from washing powders! I now use Surcare, which is non-biological as this is known to cause irritation. Change over, give it a few weeks and I hope it gets better for you. I know what its like to scratch yourself raw from it.

Try using a Non-Bio, that's what's recommended for babies and there's no more sensitive skin than that!!
