Oldguy63: "I don`t recall anything about controlling the masses in the Bible" <---Hmm, then perhaps you have not read the Bible. One cannot claim to have done so coherently and come away with anything less than a profound appreciation for all of it's commandments, laws, edicts and rules for REGULATING HUMAN BEHAVIOR

All of what you mentioned have varied understanding and belief about God. You should not comment of something which you do not know exactly. You are only basing your false comments on what you have heard or what was intact on your wrong idea of religion. Your supposed question is not really a question but to just say false comments.

I don`t recall anything about controlling the masses in the Bible, but I can`t speak for Islam. Jesus said there is a broad way that leads to destruction and there are many who find it, but a narrow way that leads to life and few find it. He admonishes us to follow the narrow way. That doesn`t sound like controling the masses to me. I don`t think you have your facts straight.

What do U mean by "Controling the masses"!

Are you controlled or uncontrolled- when you sin!

Religion is a way of life.
It provides with specific guidlines for its faithful believers.

You mean - you don't accept restrictions !
Believe it or not but rules are every where.

Do you want to be a unguided missile?

no control factor in christianity, do check the facts, Buddhism is like hinduism - its a way of life... and to say that that alone provides enlightenment would be biased.
