can pain medicines cause late menstruation?

i am on darvocet for an injury but i'm almost a week late. are the meds causing it?

this can sometimes happen. Darvocet is one of the mildest pain killers. I would contact your doctor and tell him of your problem. Perhaps a different medication would be better for you.

Are you in USA? Because almost NO ONE uses Darvon or Darvocet anymore. Studies have shown it to be so mild that it is no more effective than motrin for pain control, yet it has all the side effects of stronger opiates. (constipation, risk of addiction, etc).
