I am in 6th grade, and I really like this boy. I think he likes me too, because we always sit next to each other when our friends aren't around, and we laugh and smile when our teachers say something funny. He's in my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, lunch, and 9th pd. classes and I don't know how to ask him out. I mean, his friend said he doesn't think he likes me, but clues have lead me otherwise. What is the best way to ask with out coming on strong. I need a cute, small hint that he will be able to catch pick up on. I'm just waiting for the right thing to say. I really do think we have a good chance :). I need the best advice there is!

swallow your pride, ask him if he had the choice of anyone to go out with who would it be. (99% chance he wont say you) Then tell him, ooh, i guess you'd never go out with me then. (if he says no, your off the hook, kick em in the leg or something ((joking)). If he says yes, or maybe, tell him why doesn't he try going out with you, since he's not decided yet. or even easier if he says yes he would go out with you, just make it official. But honestly, dont worry about it, he's only interested in finding out what sex is like, if you guys are truely friends, then just stay friends, as you get older if you want to date, you will. 6th grade, you have alot more of life to see and understand before "going out" is of any importance. And from a realistic standpoint, your life will go completely down hill if you go about it wrong.

Well whatever you do if your serious Dont use text messages or emails or the fone or emails. The best way is in person. Make sure hes by himself so he is not influenced by others and calmly ask him tell him you really like him and value yourfriendship but would like to take it to the next level. tell him if he does not feel the same way then you are fine with ur friendship where it is at the moment and u can go bak to that at any time.

i think the most casual way to ask someone out is to ask him if he wants to go to the movie (or anywhere) with you this weekend. you don't need to directly say the words "can you go out with me" have fun=)

start by saying "Hi"..with a smile in your eyes and keep eye contact.. then go from there.
You will see for yourself in his eyes whether or not to proceed.
You can take a horse to water, but you can't make him drink it.
