Telephone the credit companies and explain this to them and hopefully they will be able to correct it. i ahd some debts on mine that I never owed and spoke to them and they got it sorted out.

Dispute the trade line from all 3 credit bureaus if there. To the best of your knowledge it "belongs to primary card holder" At 7 years they should fall off anyway. Generally a tradeline that is that old doesn't get the attention of the creditor since it is falling off anyway and when they hear from the credit bureau they dont respond and after 30 days the trade line disappears. Sorry about your loss.

its terminal!! credit reporting agencys do not maintain records they only add to them!! You will need to write many letters in order to see any change. I suggest that you create a paper trail and then contact an attorney for the final slame dunk. Let face it, you may have your ducks in a row, but the credit agencys present you in default or slow to pay. The way its going now, in 5 years or so, the best credit score will be under 600!!
