Muslims, before you answer, swear by God that you will say the truth, not your opinion. I was playing around Answers with my wife and found a question referring to this link:

Where I found someone called Laurence of arabia, we read all his answers and we are really interested. Are all muslims like that? do they all talk in that manner of mercy and forgiveness?

The Koran has a few buitifull verses true. But Hitler said some really great things to. As many other distatfull leaders Don't get caried away with Islam. It is still a very primitive religion and due to the culture of its followers will not allow positive change. The Koran is one of the asolute worst reading around. Perhaps this is due to the translation but from a literary, logical and ethical point of view it makes no sense what so ever.

Like the Bible durring the time it was written it was great for the masses. For example the abstenence from pork made alot of sense in those days due to worms. However drive down town Kabul today and see the sheep the muslims eat. They are worse than pigs. Islam gives an excuse to everyone for acting and behaving like an animal. Poligamy, lying if its in your favor, killing in the name of God and being rewarded with 29 virgins remember its pretty tough to serve mankind and God when you have to shut everything down to pray five times a day and take two more monthes off a year for the Haj and Ramadan.

Again, dont get carried away. There are some nice words but be carefull of trusting men who still wear dresses and still use there hand as toilet paper

Yes definetly that is the case. Islam believes in forgiveness. The real and practising Muslims are forgiving. They believe in peace. Muslims have contributing a lot to society. THey are also doing well in the west where they have been succesful as doctors, engineers, lawyers and much more. One good thing about the Muslims in the West is their commitment to spread the right Islam. The Islam that does not focus on terrorism.

If u really want the truth, u read the Quran yourself.
Thats the only way to know.
People say & write things out of conte t, making it sound bad/wrong.
What do these people know, their only intention is to malign.
I swear that islam is a religion of peace, mercy, forgiveness. You cannot infer things on the basis of the behaviour of some/certain people. I believe terrorists have no religion at all. Those who follow Allah/God know and will swear that they dont believein terrorism and that their religion promotes peace, whatever the religion.

Having said that, i will reiterate that pleaseeeeeeee research what u say here thoroughly, unless ur only motive is to malign and spread hatred, which seems to be the case here. Please avoid that.

Muslims are obliged to speak kindly with mercy and forgiveness and if we disagree with the "people of the book" i.e. Christians, we should just say Peace on you. What better example of being a Muslim or Christian etc... than to act in accordance with the beliefs of the respective religion. Muslims should practice what they preach but of course there are exceptions / aberrations. Accordingly, the heaviest thing in the scales on the day of judgement is a person's behavior and civility so no doubt the gentleman you mention above is making a good collection for himself.

"swear by God that you will say the truth" should not be said to a true Muslim..since laying is a Major sin in Islam and become one of the greatest sin (after worshing other than Allah) when this lay is about the Religion Of Islam....
We, Real Muslims, consider the non-Muslim (non-beliver of only One God or non-beliver of any God) as a Kafir ....We do not accept thier religion at all, we consider them not in the right way,
On the other hand, we do really respect them...we do not treat them badly. Morover, if they are our neighbours we shoud make nice relationship with them...this what we have learnt from Qurran and Sunnah...

islam teaches us to talk like that but in reality like with all other religions the people who follow them dont always do exactly what the religion says. Islam preaches tolerance, forgiveness and mercy but what the religion teaches and what people do are two seperate things. There are muslims who do follow the teachings of islam very strictly and ones who dont. its subjective to the persons upbringing and personality.

( not verbatim ) in the Qur'an it states that if you forgive and love someone you dislike for the sake of God, it is most excellent, a very righteous deed.
