Please, stop. Even if you preach, they are not going to listen. Did you guys forget in the Qu'ran where it says there is no compulsion in religion?
You're giving other muslims a bad name you know.
Anyways, if they want to follow Islam, it's up to them. If they don't want, it's up to them. But if they listened to a lie, misintrepratation or something, that's when we come and clear things up. If not, we don't need to preach.
So I'm gonna ask nicely, as another muslim, could you guys go easy on the other people, could you stop preaching?
It's getting annoying.
Thanks!

I totally agree with you
Look at the nice answer given in this question and maybe they will learn how to talk. It is given by a non Muslim about the authentithity of the Bible and the Quran and he was both knowledgeable and polite in dealing with the issue

A jerk who claims to be an Ex-Muslim would ask a question about Islam some of us respond with something like “vulgarity in the Bible” or “Inconsistency in the Bible” and I really fail to see what does this has to do with the main question
God bless

Every Muslim is bound to explain beauty of Islam no matter he is paid any attention or not.
If we don't, we shall be asked by Allah for failing in our duty.
Obviously, your non-muslim friend will complain on the judgement day that he was always with you but Adia never shared the beauty of Islam with him. Therefore he is not at fault. Then Allah will certainly ask you.
It is certainly not forcing your beliefs on some one. It is clear from the Quran;
[1] Say: O ye that reject Faith! .................[ After your preaching]
[2] I worship not that which ye worship,
[3] Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
[4] And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship,
[5] Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
[6] To you be your Way, and to me, mine
However you are required to present your belief in Islam in a dignified manner;
" Invite (people) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful
Preaching, and argue with them in the best ways."Quran [16:125]
My dear Adia you can not escape from your duty.
NOTE : Moreover there are so many things which even Muslims do not know. Will you not share your knowledge with us ???

Well Koran, Bible ,etc. nearly all scriptures tells the sincere readers and strict followers to preach the knowledge.
But its not that u have to really "convert" ppl under the spell of preaching. If some1 is atheist or does have no knowledge about God, you should preach him whatever scripture u follow. Not that u prove ur scripture is false refer mine see how "mine" is better that "yours".
That would create an animal culture nothiing else. I mean which scripture says u this "Preach the person who already follows other scripture, and forcibly "convert" him to become true follower.
tell me which scripture says this.
PS: i am pointing every1 who preach anything.

Thank you, sir. For what it's worth, I don't really mind the preaching. One rather expects it, here. What I mind are the 40,000 character rants, complete with multiple misspelled quotes from the Q'ran, which have little or nothing to do with the question asked.
Please - tell me about Islam. I'm happy to hear it. Please don't tell me how I don't understand Christianity, though. And especially please don't quote badly translated passages from the Q'ran at me. I realize you revere it just as I revere the Bible. Tell me - if I quote the Bible at you, are you going to believe it?
Edit: I'm kind of sorry we can't give thumbs up to questions any more.

I agree, dont argue with people who post comments for the sole purpose of insulting Islam. Such remarks dont merit the time and effort it takes to think, reasearch and formulate a response. Rather focus on people who are genuinly interested and who seriously want to know truth.

Nice...
I really try following the phrase that say "Khair al kalami ma qala wa dal" in other words "the best of speech is what is little but informative".
As for preaching... there are other places to do so, this place is for answering questions. period.
Peace.

"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things" Quran,Al- Baqara' ayat 256
