How do you put your children to bed (culture costumes)?

I interested to find out how people from different culture
put thier children to bed

here in middle east most people have 5 -7 kids so they have no time to put each one on bed and wish them a goodnight .

Im from Missouri so I'm sure things aren't too much different here but, I lay down with my son and talk to him for a minute. He is almost 3 so he talks a little, so I ask him how his day was and what he did. Then we have a list of different songs and I ask him which one he wants me to sing to him that night. Then we say a prayer together and give each other a hug and kiss. Then I say goodnight and walk out of the room. He sleeps with a night light and a fan, also.

They have a snack, brush their teeth, and get into bed. I tuck them in under their covers, say a bedtime prayer with them, and turn out their lights.

I read my lil guy a book, then rock him until he's relaxed. Sometimes it helps if you leave a nightlight or if you give your kid a bath before you get ready to put him/her down to bed. It helps relax them.
