I see nothing wrong with that. At some point you may wish to impress her with your "beans on toast"
The whole point is you are making an effort to make her feel special, and that is the romantic bit. It's like the petals, are they hand picked from a hybrid rose you have cultivated and named after her? Or are they just from a bunch of cheap flowers you've bought from Tesco? The fact that you have thought to include petals is what counts.

Absolutely, a romantic meal is all about the two people not about the food or even the enviroment. It sounds like you've got a good handle on the situation so be a little more confident.

What makes a meal romanic is the interaction between the two people, and the aura surrounding the event... really the food is just an excuse to spend some romanic time togther and share with eachother.

Beautiful idea!! Go with it!!
Often I find when I am making a romantic meal I spend so much energy on the meal that I am to tired for the romance. You have a good solution.
Good Luck.
Peace

it's usually what the modern man does now, cause we don't know how to cook much else than beans on toast!
i dont think it matters who makes the meal, if it's supposed to be romantic then it's the setting and other things (candles, music etc)

I think that it is still romantic even though your not cooking as you are going to be making an effort to get her fave food in and make the place nice with candels and such forth. Good luck with your date.

Absolutely! She will love you for not messing up the kitchen too!! Any girl who loves Chinese food would much rather have it made by Chinese people. And doing that you don't get any stress and can enjoy the evening and give her even more pleasure!! ;-)

I used to regularly order Chinese from my local chinky and lay it out ready for my Girl Friends to come round.
They all thought I made it until one day there was a knock at the door and one of my girls answered it and it was the Chinese guy who delivered it and told her he had forgotten to give me the prawn crackers.
So long as you hide the cartons who cares.

and you dont have to do any washing up! its the thought that counts, and if she hasnt got to wash up...she'll be grateful!
joking aside... you go for it. look after the details, and allow someone else to cook... bung the delivery guy a tenner and he'll serve you! (probably not...)
oh, and dont serve it in the plastic pots.. use real serving dishes... theres nothing worse than eating nice food out of plastic containers...
