I wasn't going to answer this question untill I saw two of your answers were the Chungking Mansions, it would be the last place in Hong Kong, and maybe the world I would bring my children to. It is THE seediest place to stay in Hong Kong, notorious for drugs and other illicit activity. Having said that, I live in Asia and travel to Hong Kong frequently, I recommend the Renaissance Hotel (Kowloon), they have a nice pool and is located right on the edge of the harbour where there is a beautiful park-like promenade that stretches all the way to the Star Ferry, a great place for kids to run around, and the best views of HK island as well. You can also check: www.frommers.com/destinations , after destinations enter: /hongkong and look for links to family friendly hotels. Have a good trip!

The four seasons.......

A real test of any hotel is what it does to accommodate children. The Four Seasons didn't disappoint.

After a 18-hour flight with my sister and her 5-month-old daughter, it was a joy to be welcomed at the hotel, personally escorted to our spacious room, then plied with jasmine tea. Not only were there Occitane goodies for me, but baby had her own selection of Johnson & Johnson toiletries and a complimentary set of dishes for feeding.

Within minutes of arriving, a special baby snack arrived compliments of the chef - a savoury rusk - which I confess I ate since she's not eating solids yet. The dishes made it home in my luggage.

The Four Seasons also handled the booking of a local nanny to look after baby while I was attending an onsite conference. Cost was HK$100 per hour via Quality HealthCare Services.

Can also recommend room service (good eggs Benedict), and do go to 6th floor open air bar with infinity pool and splendid harbour views.

In sum, a very comfortable stay with thoughtful touches. Minimalist decor may not please everyone, but the services will.

5 star hotels may charge per person. Lower ranked hotels have room rates good for families and amenities are also good. If you are on a budget, lot of hostels/boarding houses around HK also. Only thing is, toilets may have to be shared. You can find HK hotels in the net to suit your needs.

properly on the airport there's a inn yet i do not propose it, it truly is totally severe priced it truly is about $500 an afternoon so i tips inn novotel the beds are truly tender and the rooms are very cutting-part. and in case you want something somewhat more suitable contained in the city there is the Harbour Plaza North aspect inn and only something more suitable the perfect shops are in Taikoo and causeway bay and in Tsim Sha Tsui(Kowloon) besides the undeniable fact that the resorts i recommended they could no longer be the perfect for a 4 man or woman family members yet they are going to deliver up more suitable beds.

Hi Arnaldo,
I saw your answer and that would also be my choice as the best hotel for the family as long as they can all go up in the same elevator. . .
