I came across some old HG (.CH3) files and no longer have the application...not sure anyone does anymore? Is there a current software that will open them or convert them?

FastLook (by Kamel Software) can read this file but I don't think that would be free. Besides, Harward Graphics has been taken over by Serif. Perhaps they's be able to provide with a free solution.

Irfanview is free and will open and convert Harvard Graphic Files. You'll need to download the program itself and the extra plugins pack from here:

Now at ver. 4.42, IrfanView does not open or convert *.CHT files produced by Harvard Graphics a long time ago.
