No, I do not. Actively seeking converts is just not something Asatruars do, it goes against the free-sprint and independent nature of the Norse. Asatru is known as the religion with homework, that right there makes it less popular than other Pagan religions.
As a matter of fact I am actually glad that my religion isn't really popular. Because many wildly popular things (boy bands and cable television), are amazingly shallow and fluffy. They appeal to the masses, and the masses are -- let's face it -- dumb.

I don't try to convert anyone. I think people should choose whichever religion they are comfortable with. I will, however answer any questions they have, if they ask me. But I don't preach to anyone or condemn anyone for not believing the same things that I believe.

I guess there is such thing as 'loving somthing to death'. They need to leave it alone if they try and try, they 'sowed' their 'seed' (if they water it too much it will kill the whole purpose), and then it's only up to the individual. (and, yes if I don't want something, the last thing I would want is to be hounded to take it!! I am here to tell you its not a bad thing though, I was scared to death for so reason, well I was just 12 yrs. old but I'm soo glad I did, looking back at my life!...(sorry..cought myself doing it also!)=8O :~~ :: ::

NO!!! I spent 6 years in the US military defending the right of everyone to worship and think as they choose. I answer question on here to provided information about my view and my faith but not to recruit. My faith is my own just as you must find you own faith (if you choose to) and I hope that whatever faith you choose brings you happiness. The only faith I object to is any that would bring harm to another.
Blessed Be )O(

Me, personally, no. Im not try to convert you but informing you about my belief and it's up to you to decide to join or not. I can't stand when people treat you unfairly because you chose a different religion or organization. I believe it's up to God to lead you where your properly accepted. We as humans can't convert you but guide you to where your most needed through Christ.

The Christians on here are perfect. They would never do such a thing.
In the real world though they are banging at my door, stopping me in the street and getting me to explain my beliefs - so they don't have to explain or justify theirs.

No one can force anyone to do something, its their own wish to things which they want.
I believe in God and that Jesus was sent by God to save us from sins because when I call to God He answers. When I know this is all is true, how can I keep myself quiet. And God has filled me with his Holy Spirit which makes me tell others.
So if you want to know whether its all true, ask God even in your heart, He knows what we say even when we dont open our mouth.
