a doctor could better tell you why it is puffy, and what you should or should not be doing. but first take care of the problem she is obviously having.

Well, if her whole body was puffy would you make her walk around in the nude? If she is not wearing panties, then what is she wearing? If nothing, then that's probably why she has a puffy vagina! Panties with a cotton crotch will keep her free from germs and infection. Take that girl to the pediatrician and then make a trip to Wal-Mart and let her pick out some panties. Enough Said!

Then what does she wear?
Do you just follow her around with a portable potty waiting for her to squirt or poop?
Or do you just let her make a mess?
What about when she starts school.....what will you do then?
She is at that age were she has to learn how to function in her panties.
You wear panties...I hope...so why not your daughter.
At this age a little girls goal is to be just like her mom. I am surprised she has not asked you weird questions about your panties or her lack of.
Her toot toot is puffy. I do not understand.
As long as they are cotton panties she should be fine.
Letting her toot toot air out from diapers I can understand but I am going to assume she is no longer in diapers..................................SO PUT SOME PANTIES ON THAT GIRL FOR HEAVEN SAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you think that area is more swollen than normal then you should have her checked out by her pediatrician.
if she's not wearing underpants then what are you putting her in?
if nothing-this is unsanitary and can make your daughter feel very uncomfortable (especially if she's been potty trained for quite some time). if she attends school-this could also make her self conscious around other kids
if you've chosen to put her back in pullups or diapers this is harmful to her self esteem and could hurt her feelings, making her feel like she's done something wrong to warrent wearing the diapers again
for now-put the underwear on her (buy some that are a little big if you're worried about hurting her) and have her checked out by her dr asap

she needs to wear panties because she's in school. And her cloth could hurt her vagina like her pants or short. You need to take her to the Dr. and see why her vagina is puffy.

I think she should be wearing knickers at her age as she's at school and other children may pick on her if they see that she's not wearing underwear. Also, cotton knickers are actually good for her because they allow the air to circulate and it can prevent her from getting infections.

If your child has a problem then she needs to see a gp - not wearing underwear can cause infections.
Cotton undies are the best as they let the air circulate - why not try boxers for her (can get them in female designs) - so at least she is wearing something

my daughter is such a tom-boy. she's always getting dirty just like the boys when she plays outside so i always keep clean panties on her so she doesn't get infections.
i would talk to her dr to see what is going on with her vaginal area.
