Warning: This might sound kind of nasty: I caught that virus that's been going around - the one that lasts for about 4-8 weeks with mostly cold symptoms (fever, sore throat, body aches, eventually a cough, etc.). Well, I came down with this sucker Feb. 5, which was 4 1/2 weeks ago, and I really thought I was over it until a few days ago I developed a sore throat again. But, it was a different kind of sore throat - not as severe. So, I thought it was just allergies. Well, the sore throat intensified until two nights ago when I developed a horrible cough that nothing can take care of (not even the cough medicine I was given three weeks ago when I was sick the first time). When I had the cough before, I coughed up greenish phlegm, then later on, yellow mucous. Tonight I coughed up a large quantity of clear liquid (mucous, I assume). Then, I threw up, although I didn't feel nauseous, so it was probably my cough that triggered it. Sorry to go on like this, but I am so sick of being sick.

You poor thing! That is so awful, I had the same thing. Your body is healing and from the phlegm colour changing and now being clear that is a good sign. I would go back to the doctor, as you never know, sometimes a virus starts off differently than it ends as the virus mutates and you may need antibiotics now. I think you threw up from coughing too much as that happened to me as well. I also would recommend bed rest and trying to drink a lot of water to cleanse the body. Be kind to yourself and I hope you feel better soon. Big hugs :-)

Did you not get the flu shot? I think personally everyone should. I have had what you have had so many many times. Now I get the flu shot as I have asthmas. You should see a doctor to make sure you dont have a lung infection. Then drink water and more water and juice. Get into bed. Drink some tea and get a good book after seeing the doctor. You will get better. But do see the dr for a lung xray.

Of course, it could be a second infection.....
It either an Influenza or something like adenovirus - it depends on how high your fever, as to what my answer would be.

Just stick it out. The colour change is a good sign though.

Take vitamin supplements - 200% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin A, D and E, and 100& RDA of vitamin C. Works wonders for your immune system.

It may be pneumonia since the phlegm you coughed out was greenish or yellow. Secretions that have cleared is one sign that you're getting better. But you better have it checked by a doctor to know what strain of microorganism is causing it (may be strep,
bacterial, pneumococcal) and which antibiotic to take. Also keep yourself hydrated.

Did the eco-friendly video exhibit and music go away when you shut down and rebooted the pc? it can be a glitch, something might have conflicted with the equipment, nevertheless I genuinely have under no circumstances heard of something like this. Do your Anti-virus scans (finished ones that test the entire pc) and whether it particularly is a virulent disease, it's going to %. it up.

Depending on how you feel in yourself, if you're managing to retain food and water, stay at home, keep warm and drink lots of warm fluids, honey and lemon tea is good, and menthol vapours in a steamy room for loosening phlegm.

If you have a high fever for a prolonged time, or you have been unable to retain fluids for 24 hours you should go to the doctor/A&E
