Many people here when asked to clarify about their religion, start attacking other faiths, instead of replying to the question
Does attacking other faiths really help ? or should we honestly reply to the pinching questions

This question is not hurled on a particular faith !
That way no one is clean here... all of religions are doing bashing here... which hurts me
I am sad even if the insult is for christianity,,islam or my religion !!
But at least sensible persons should avoid it... let the cyber terrorists do their job

People who attack other religions to protect their faith, do not know nothing about their religion and lack confidence in their faith.
If you are a really confident person in your beliefs, then no matter what other people tell you aboiut your religion will not affect you.
I always say, before you learn about other religions, learn first about yours... really well. This way people will not have much time to think about other things, like bashing other people's faiths.

Bashing yet another faith isn't acceptable. besides the undeniable fact that, pointing out that a particular religious employer is promotion an inaccurate theory could no longer on the on the spot be seen 'bashing'. First: it truly is the orgainization it truly is being held as a lot because the spotlight, no longer the individuals in it. the individuals may be truly trustworthy and do not realize their chosen church has some pretend ideas. With God, lack of expertise is an excuse. 2d: Christians persist with Jesus' party. note how sternly Jesus spoke to the Pharisees ....Matthew 3:7. Even in Mark 2:24,25 he makes use of a stern note decision. So, if the most objective is on the concept, no longer the guy believing it ....there is position for polite, respectful communicate.

If one disrespects and attacks other religions, then one is not in complete knowledge that the same God whom they adore has given different modes of worship to suit different natures of different persons. There may be a difference in the degree of realizations, but ultimately all the paths are given by God only. Just because one cannot understand the way's of God doesn't mean one should attack other religions. One can be confident and enthusiastic in following one's own religion without attacking other relgious faith without even understanding completely about the philossophy.
One's path may be superior than other's path, but that doesn't mean one should attack other person. Rather one should be compassionate upon others and encourage everybody to follow that person's path. Otherwise one will lose faith in that path and may even become atheistic.

To answer your question, no it doesn't help when faiths are attacked. It attacks the core/centre of our very being. I'm glad you asked this question. AUM, Forgive me for the next part, it isn't really answering your question...(I haven't attacked other faiths but i have disagreed. I have also said some things about Jehovah Witnesses that i believed to be true at the time. I have invited JW's to email me to correct me if I'm wrong, but so far no one has. I apologise to all JW's on the site and other wise. I hope you can forgive me. I have had a change of heart and realise after reading many of your answers, you love Jesus and some are very gracious. God bless you....

No, attacking other faiths doesn't really help at all for our public image. But we just can't help ourselves, can we? All I can say is, we ought to reply to the hotheads just as we would reply to the most polite and respectful of humans. To atheists, nothing is more delightful than pointing out what they see as lapses of reason in religion. So please, reply civilly to the, shall we say, less tactful or the bluntly inclined.

I am a Muslim if i ask something about other religion it doesn’t mean that I am disgracing or insulting other ( as mostly we face here about muslim from non-muslim majority use filthy wording) this YA forum is for exchange of your views ,… so if the particular person (if really it doesn’t mean to disgrace your religion or not using spoiled wording) so why you think that he/shi is attacking your faith, just clear him your way, I don’t think that there is any problem. to exchange your view no one is going to convince you on gun point so you are becoming so personal Just follow the one rule don’t tease other faith don’t leave your faith,

I have found that people do this when they are unable to reply, either from lack of knowledge or the fact that their faith doesn't stand up to the questioning. So they attack other faiths to draw attention away from their own inadequacies.

well i of no religion to speak of, would have to agree. if ur belief and trust in ur religion is strong enough, there should be no need to bash another religion in order to make ur point. however that kinda is the pt to begin with!!
