can people feel their death is close, befor they die?

A close friend of mine died a few years ago, he knew and felt that his death was imminent. When he died, he knew it was his final breath!

I'm sure if someone shot you 5 times in the chest you would "feel" the pain and "feel" you that probably would die.

Yes, sometimes.
My grandma knew about a mo before.

She died from liver & pancreatic cancer at the age of 97.

Yes,if they have cancer and the doctor will tell how much days for them to live.

yes, i think they would feel something not necessarily pain but some kind of peaceful feeling
