What is more important? Staying in college or earning an income?
Im 21 years old and I'm trying to make an decision. I want to earn my B.S in Psycology but I'm more interested in making money. Right now I'm a Hair stylist, I travel alot for business and my job provides fast daily income. Honestly, I dont think I would cross over to use my degree, but earning it, is an accomplishment. What do you think is more important? The beauty industry is fast and exciting and I love doing hair, what should I do. I love learning, but I love working as well, yes I can do both part-time, but does it make sense to continue,even if I know that I might not get into the field of Psycology later on? Advice please...

It really depends on whether you intend to use your degree to make a serious living. If you are, put the degree as the highest priority. Dont think of the money at this point, just think where you want to be in 5 years time. In my situation, I studied and completed an engineering degree. Whilst I was poor in my student years, I more than made up for it later on in my working life
From what you are saying, you think that you can forge a better career in the hair industry. If so, then stick with that, and perhaps do the degree part time.

Aak urself what do u want to be in the future . can u be a stylist for the rest of ur life? so many ppl in US get the loan to study get a better education ,and they still paying off their loan when they start working. WHY ? becoz only education can get u to a higher level .and is worth it ! And give you more options ! u can always go back to be ur stylist after u study as long as u enjoy . but without the education u have less option .
as a girl without any education , she could get a work like a waitress . get a very good tips from work , and then .. what? that's it . gor a high school girl . maybe she can work in the office have better life style . and the Uni girl . can even to be a professional . lawer. doctor. if she enjoy she can be a waitress too and that's is her choice . ( my grammer is not good . hoep u get what i m saying )

Money is more important, after getting higher education you can atmost get a job and work day and night for people who might be school drop out
