Your detail of your friends question is very well related to your question "Is God perfect?" and the answer to your question is No. If God is the creator and he was perfect then he would have created perfectly. The Bible and almost all religions tell us we are not perfect. Therefore God is not a perfect creator. This means that God is not perfect because perfection in this case is absolute.God can not be perfect and not be a perfect creator, which we see he is not.
It even gets worse! Since God is by definition perfect an imperfect God is not God because God is by definition perfect. God can not be two things, perfect and imperfect at the same time, because God is One and indivisible, by definition.
This is absurd and impossible.
Therefore God does not exist!
We now have a proof that this God does not exist. This proof then holds for all Gods defined as the one and only God and perfect.

Islam is the only religion which teaches the existence of a PERFECT God. A perfect God means that there is no sharer in His Nature and His Attributes:
"Say: He is God, the One and Only; God, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; and there is none like unto Him." (Holy Qur'an, 112:1-4)
1. He is the one God, Who has no partner.
2. Nothing is like Him. He is the Creator, not created, nor a part of His creation.
3. He is All-Powerful, absolutely Just.
4. There is no other entity in the entire universe worthy of worship besides Him.
5. He is First, Last, and Everlasting; He was when nothing was, and will be when nothing else remains.
6. He is the All-Knowing, and All-Merciful,the Supreme, the Sovereign.
7. It is only He Who is capable of granting life to anything.
8. He sent His Messengers (peace be upon them) to guide all of mankind.
9. He sent Muhammad (pbuh) as the last Prophet and Messenger for all mankind.
10. His book is the Holy Qur'an, the only authentic revealed book in the world that has been kept without change.
11. Allah knows what is in our hearts.

The thing with people like Dave is that they talk too much and explain too little in noisy environments.
I think what he might have said is "If gold is pure and perfect, why the creatine fuss?"
This is alluding to the fact that Creatine Supplements cost more per £ than Gold.
I recommend phoning Dave whilst affecting a strong regional accent, (maybe even lisping) to disguise who you really are, and instructing him to be more clear in future by saying the following:
"Riddle me this Davey Dog, Who babbles most the hog or the Frog? What is a wheel without a cog, what is a U-bend without a log?"
That should set him straight and prevent him from being so annoying in future.
Alternatively, tell him to shut up and get the round in.

By definition, God must be perfect, why would you worship an imperfect being? My suggestion for why a perfect God would create imperfect humans is ... if He wanted robots to obey His every command without hesitation and doubt then that's what He'd have created but He wanted us to worship and love Him because WE wanted to, because WE chose to. The only love that means anything is a love given freely and willingly.

Why would God being perfect prevent him from creating things.
I think my baby sons are perfect but they can create a right old racket when they feel like it.

Yes, God is the ultimate being of perfect. He created us out of love and what's the point of having created heaven and earth with no one to share it with. He gave Adam and Eve this entire planet and everything was peaceful until His demands were ignored therefore punishing us for not obeying and making decisions as images of God. The reason why humans are unperfect (if that's a word) is because He wants to see, feel, and know our passion and desires for Him and Him only. Would you call on him if your life was perfect and fulfilled with all your dreams? My guess would be no.

GOD created us to let us have a chance to live and be real. He is perfect in all ways although some things are beyond our understanding. i know these questions can create doubt but then it's actually Faith that keeps u on track. so don't search too deep and hurt yourself. read the bible, the answers are in there. stick to Faith and the inner still small voice in you.

Apparently he is. I can't be too sure though, never seen him, never spoken to him. But I guess He should be. Only He knows why he created us, maybe he felt like a little Simcity before bed.

If GOD is not perfect then HE is god. All gods are non-perfect. HE created us ..... because HE wanted to do so.
