...why don't you ask her what she believes....? to be a "blood" line Hebrew "she" would have to have been born of Hebrew parients... as far as asking "others" if she is or is not from one of the 12 Tribes of the Hebrew Nation... i.e. "Juda"...Jew. The Rabbi would most likely say "no"... unless it was an extreamly liberal, reformed congration... Shalom...

She would not be considered Jewish by the Orthodox,but Reform Jews will count the child of a Jewish father as Jewish if he/she is raised that way.

Unless her mother converted, most Jews wouldn't consider her Jewish. Exceptions: many Reform Jews, and the Karaite sect.

I suppose you'd say half Chinese and half Jewish.

she is HALF jewish...if the mom was she would be full. and jewish is NOT a religion...its an ethnicity and it dosnt matter if you practice religiously..your always jewish and your neice is welcome in the jewish community. we dont descriminate
