My mother in law is always arguing with me about whether I'm having a girl or not ..based on her "feelings"...She feels it inside that we're having a girl.....She also keepsasking to be in the room while I'm delivering the baby.......Is your mother inlaw this way??

I think she is just very excited!
I think everyone likes to play "guess the baby's sex" and everyone has their own set of tell tale signs! high, low, wide in the hips, all out front,,,,,,,The list goes on and on....its funny really!
About being in the delivery room? Are you close? Its nice that she is comfortable enough with you being her D.I.L. Even if you are close you would probably want your husband and perhaps your own mother?? Do you really want her to be there when you cuss out your hubby and punch the nurse and tell the doctor to go to hell!! Not to mention hear you scream for drugs!!Imagine her peering at the baby's head crowning!!
I think that it is an intensely personal private experience between you and your husband and that you would probably end up resenting it if you did let her in out of pity!
Having your own mum can be a beneficial thing because she instinctively knows how to comfort you, and she can man the video camera to allow your husband to be in the movies with you! But you have to consider how your hubby feels about this...he may just want it to be you and him who are there to greet your new arrival.
Good luck and enjoy the magical time ahead of you!

Some Mother in Law tend to want to feel everything we do.....meaning they are yearning to be involved?
Just listen patiently and smile. Do you really think were having a girl, oh my really.....and as far as having her in the room...
Its beautiful to share such a experience.....I believe as long as all are healthy and all are happy and sharing you joy....why not?

I also believe that the mood of the Labor Delivery Room.....is the personality that your child will have.....Happy go lucky....is something I would prefer.....:O)

Best wishes....remember bringing a baby into the world is a beautiful thing....sharing her/him is even more beautiful....and with a smile.

best wishes
