i know they sell all those fancy tea drinks, but I was just wondering about regular hot tea....do they make it themselves or do they provide the hot water and the tea bag, and how much do they charge? thanks.

yes we do! (i have been with starbucks for over 1 1/2 years! lol) we sell tazo teas. and yes we make it for you! =] price at my store is between $1.50 and $1.75 you can also ask to buy the tea boxes so you can make it yourself =] but we do seel black teas and green tea (which are both caffinated) and herbal teas (which are decaffinated)
black teas include.. awake (breakfast tea/black tea)
chai (organic spiced black tea)
earl grey (scented black tea)
and joy aroudn the holiday seasons (i think it is a mix of black teas and oolong)
green teas there are
china green tips (green tea)
zen (green tea with herbal infusions)
white berryclossom (white tea. with blueberry, smells delicious but tastes horrible! lol my honest opinion!)
herbal teas (my favorties!)
passion (hibiscus flower)
african red bush(hibiscus flowers with lemon)
refresh (spearmint and peppermint)
calm (chammomile)
wild sweet orange (orange tea/citrus)
a grande of or a venti tea with one bag of african red bush and one bag of pasion tea is mighty tasty!
but i think i got most of them. the regulars at least. ther are a few out there that pop up especially aroudn the holiday season =] liek oolong teas. and some different herbal teas!
but you can always ask them to put in honey and sugar for it (i find it a pain to do it after the cup is filled up with water)
also you way want to leave some room in it and ask for ice on the side! the water is usually at 200 degrees F! thats only 12 degrees away from boiling! yikes! it hurts to burn our hand or your tongue on that! lol (bad experiences..)

and the iced teas include iced passion tea. iced black tea, iced green tea.. and you can get them with lemonade added instead of water. and any flavor syrup. there is melon(good in passion tea!), valencia (orange, very yummy in black tea.black tea lemonade!)
and just the normal classic syrup which is just a sugar syrup. good with anything! =]

Absolutely! If you're just looking for a straight, caffeinated black tea, which is pretty close to Lipton's and such, get their Tazo Awake tea, it is sooooo good! And if you have a Super Walmart in your area, they sell it in their grocery stores! It's only like $3.50 a box there, well, at least here where I live in California.
At Starbucks, they give you a cup filled with hot water and the tea bag is already in there steeping. You can get a Venti (the really big one, it's like their Large) for less than $2, the last time I checked anyways! Enjoy!

the ones I have been to sell Tazo tea. Tazo has green tea, red tea, earl grey or black tea, and a bunch of others. Try the passion fruit it is so yummy! They usually put 2 teabags in the hot water and it isn't very much money. Less than $2 I believe for a grande.

Yes, Starbucks has regular tea. They use a brand called Tazo. There are various black teas offered: Earl Grey (with bergamot), Chai (spiced black tea) and Awake (plain black tea). Also two green teas: Zen (with lemongrass) and China Green Tips (traditional green tea). They also have peppermint, orange, passion and calm (chamomile).
You can purchase a box of tea for about $6-8 dollars (the price can depend on where you live). OR you can purchase a cup of tea for yourself in the store for about $2. In a short/tall size of tea, you get one bag (they usually put it in for you). In a grande or venti size, you get two bags of tea. Ask to put the tea in yourself and save one of the tea bags for later! That's what I usually do!
(P.S. What most people like for hot teas are Awake, Zen or the peppermint tea. Starbucks also serves iced Zen, Passion or Awake (they just call it black tea) as well. If you try the Passion iced tea, be sure to put in some simple syrup because it's a bit too tart for most people plain).

Yes. Go to starbucks and ask. They have lots of tea. My favorite is orange.

Yes they do, at least where I'm from. They make the tea for you. I guess the price would vary from country to country.

yes they do and it does not cost that much but it might cost more depending on where you live like if you live in the main lands it will not cost that much but if you live in like hawaii it will cost more
