it is against the law for someone to put something in your food or drink with out you knowing about it.

you have the right to refuse treatment if you wish and there is nothing they can do about it.

if you have that much of a concern, ask for a individual serving of milk (the little pints) and seal drinks and so forth. if they do not oblige, speak to the charge nurse or file a complaint with the hospital.

here is hoping to your good health

What hospital would put poison in milk? Wake up! No amount of medication can last a year later. If there was anything in the milk it was probably a sedative. It does not remain in your body after one year. The most a medicine can remain in your body is 24 hours, enough time for the kidneys to clear it out of circulation. Calm down and take your doctor's prescribed anti-psychotics.

i looked at your other questions, and you seem to be pre occupied with the feeling that someone has put poison or medication in your milk carton. lots of people responded by saying it is not true, but you still chose to believe that some one did tamper with the milk carton. it bothers you very much that you are halucinating by visually seeing the carton of milk every night. this is causing you great distress and u ask if it if it my mental illness, or the carton of milk. it is your mental illness, causing this problem. you have what they call a fixed paranoid delusion which is caused by your mental illness. i suggest you talk to your doctor about this. most medications will eliminate bothersome and paranoid thoughts, that interfere with your quality of life. perhaps a different medication would help you. it must be very frustrating for you, and leave you with the feeling that no body believes you. i believe , in your mind it is true, but in reality, it is not. hope this helps you, and good luck.

Even if she did..I dont think so .But you should not worry about it there is nothing you can do now.If you have mental illness than I think it is something more of an underlining problem.Did something else happen in the hospital.Maybe you associate the milk with the pain you felt.I am bi-polar and have joined an Online group. We post messages and answer them.I think you could benefit from this.

Info a little short, but here is my simplistic view.
The milk was fine, they gave it to you to help you calm down.
Now you are all wound up & stressing yourself out. Take another glass of milk & get into yoga, serious exercise or whatever takes you fancy that will get you out of your downhill snowball condition.

It's completely unprofessional to slip the meds in any drink or food with out informing the patient. I wouldn't assume that the nurse did this.
