Well r u ready to have something like that done it hurts!i am Little bit of a bigger girl (not huge but bigger) and i had mine done loved it till i found that it would not heal the right way i am allergic to it and i now don't have it! most men i find love it and find it very sexy and want to see if u can move Ur belly like a belly dancer when u have it done! but anyway u need to make sure it is what u really want to do and it is not something that u r getting pressured into doing by friends or peers for that matter! have fun and do what u think is best if all else fails and u get it and don't like it u can always remove it and no one will ever know! just take care of it the way u r told to and don't change it right away. and by the way this is only if u r older then 13 with parents consent or older then 18 without it OK later.

It depends on if you have the proper anatomy for a bellybutton piercing... most people will still pierce you, but you shouldn't get pierced if you don't have the anatomy because you'll just end up with a scar once the piercing rejects. It takes discipline not to play with the piercing while it's healing and to not switch out the jewelry until it's healed (at LEAST 2 months, but closer to 6 months to a year). If you want one and you're old enough, go ahead; it's your money and your body. Some people may think less of you, much like the "tramp stamp" tattoos have done.

Its not good or bad, its really just personal preference if you want it done or not.

The only thing 'bad' about it is that if you don't take care of it while it heals you can have problems with infections and your body rejecting the piercing, but that shouldn't be a problem if you go to a reputable professional piercer and take care of your piercing as instructed.

Of course, if you get it done, never hesitate to ask the piercer about your questions and concerns. If you have a problem with the piercing or how something looks, go to them.

If you're 18, which I'm assuming you're not based on your typing/lack of sentences, then you can go get your belly button pierced if you want.

It's not necessarily a "good thing to be done" because it's not NEEDED. And we can't tell you if it'll turn out ok because it's all on you for the healing process.

If your parent won't take you, and you're not 18, don't self pierce or have a friend do it...

hmmmmm....... im guessing by your question that your really young

so im also guessing that it might not be entirely legal for you to have it done......... in which case it would be silly of me to encourage and would be entirely your choice

however, if you are over 16 then i guess my next question is why are you asking this question?

getting a piercing is a personal choice that you either really want to do or you dont. it's not really something that you kinda think you might want to do and then go and do it

i mean, it can hurt, it can look beautiful, it can cause infection problems, it can be completely complication free, it can be something that reminds you of a time in your life and it can be just for decoration

then im not sure what the reasons are behind you wanting to do it

I have one and I love it! Make sure to take care of it if you get it done. They should give you seasalt to use, follow the piercers directions and your piercing should come out great!

They are really cute! the only thing is you need to be careful when you get it done and care for it while it is healing so you don't get an infection.
