Why is it that when even a reasonably cute guy comes up to talk to me, I get all flustered and can't talk to him normally? Why is it that I can talk to guys ONLY when the conversation is COMPLETELY FLIRT-LESS?
What can I do to act more...myself?

It's like giving an oral presentation in a class. It only gets eaiser the more often you do it. Besides you will feel more comfortable around someone after you have gotten to know them. Just relax, and be patient.
