I'm not 100% on the laws in the UK, but in many places you can get piercings at 16 (no genitals, female nipples - those you have be 18 for) Call your local studio to find out for sure.

Dear x-Sequin***
1. Does your friend have a drivers licence.??
2. Does your friend have a job????
3. Does your friend have money to pay for her eyebrow piercing???
If the answer is NO to all the above, than she definately needs parental permission.
If her parents are still paying for everything, carting her all over the show and she's at school, then they really deserve the right to know what she wants to do!!!!

In the U.K it's 16, depends on the outlet. If in England then some places won't allow until 18, but most are 16 yrs. In Scotland it's 16 too.

18 years old for tattoos and piercings
OK this is bad!!!!
I was told by the tattooist who did mine that it is illegal to tattoo or pierce (Body) anyone anyone under the age of 16 even with parental consent and that they would have to see some sort of ID before doing so
Then between the age of 16-18 they would have to have the consent of their parents
Once 18 it is their choice but again ID would be needed and he did take my ID when doing my tattoo
Just seems allot of these places seem to break the rules by the sounds of these answers!!!

I'm not sure what the laws are there, but in California alot of places won't even tattoo with parental consent until the age of 18! It depends on the shop and their policies!

you can get it done when you are 16, but then again most teenagers look older than they should anyway, so unless there is a way of asking teens for i.d they will continue to lie to the tattooist/ peircer to get what they want, with or without parents permission.

It doesn't matter, since your friend should realize that there is absolutely nothing remotely attractive about a pierced eyebrow, lip, etc. It is such a passing fad, and your friend should realize that they set age limitations for a reason!!!
