I know i'm not but I still feel it. my husband drives long haul truck and I have two children who depend on me. we have very little money ( to much for any state health care) how can one find therapy for people who make to much for state help and not enough to get therapy.

You could take up distance running and some weight lifting. It really makes a huge difference in the level of stress in your life.

If you have insurance to cover doctor visits, see if your doctor will prescribe you some medication for stress. I have the same problem and the only thing that helped was getting on the right medication, and a good exercise routine.

I was absolutely desperate when I went to a psychiatrist. The worry and stomach pain was intolerable. Wellbutrin & Klonopin REALLY eliminated the constant worry and stomach pain I was feeling. Just make sure you work on your life too, because you don't want to become a happy vegetable watching TV all day. ;-)

Good luck. Remember that other people go through the same thing, there ARE solutions, and you should keep knocking on doors and making phone calls until you find someone to help you. :-)

I have been there. When I was running low on money life was depressing. We found about 20 ways to slightly cut costs. Then over the next 2 years we were able to pay off credit cards & had more & more money. Meanwhile, I would find the cheapest health policy you can if you feel you need therapy. You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price. I am paying less than ½ after I did.

I live with my single mom, and we're pretty low on money too. I started looking online to find sites that you can make money online. Through the years, I've sorted through just about every one, and I've found TreasureTrooper to be the most legit, easiest, and highest paying website. Sure, you won't make an entire income, but it's good if you're unemployed and need to make some extra cash. It's completely free. Some people make hundreds of dollars a month taking this site seriously. I have recieved checks from them, and so has everyone else in this 63 page thread of payment proof in their forum: http://forum.treasuretrooper.com/index.php?showtopic=17509&st=620&start=620

Anyways, that helps me a lot, I hope it does for you too. You can join at the link below. If you have any questions, feel free to message me.

You don't need therapy, just trust in the Lord with all of your heart.
I've had to do it for many years. You are right your children need you and you can pay physicians a little along - some have a patient advocacy program. We have good insurance but I recently had to recieve injections that were $900 each and even though our insurance covered most of it, I got a bill for $300 which I don't have. I get a disbility check but have other bills that come out of that, I have an almost 9 yr old granddaughter that we have custody of and when the union hall has work, my husband works but he is self sufficient so he will look for his own work when need be. We get very, very, little help with our granddaughter although her parents are finally growing up ( at 36 and 40 yrs of age) and we have talked of them taking custody back partly because of my health. we have insurance because my husband is also retire civil service So far all I've done is just look at the bill but they did offer consult with a patient advocacy. I can't get any help from the government for her either. My faith has carried me through much in my life so look to your Heavenly Father and HE WILL PROVIDE. God Bless you. One other thing. Take a "little" bit of time just for you or a date with your husband and it doesn't have to be anything elaborate or expensive Every body needs a little time for themselves.

Some drug companies will give you medication cheap or free, but I think you need a prescription, so you'd still have to see a doctor. Sorry, that's not really much help. There are breathing exercises you can do, and other things to calm your mind, but I know from experience sometimes it's beyond that.

Hi there :) What you need is to calm down for a while. First step is to close your eyes, and relax for few minutes. Just relax without imagining/thinking anything. After that, just give intention to smile.. from your heart. Smile freely... After that you could pray based on your belief, by smiling and relaxing more. Me and a lot of my friends have done this relaxation and smiling therapy, and of course praying to God, ... and fortunately a lot of problems get solved automatically.

I used a church based therapist, mine was really good and she worked with me on payments, some other therapists will charge on a sliding scale.
