If the Scriptures or Sacred Tradition stated that Jesus was married then it would make no difference.
There are not even any popular legends that claim Jesus was married.
Therefore almost all Christians believe that Jesus was not married and resist anyone trying to make up lies about our Lord and Savior.
What is even worse are those who suggest that Jesus had a sexual relationship with Mary Magdalene outside of wedlock and therefore sinned.
With love in Christ.

I hate it when people bring that damn book into arguments. Yes it’s thought that jesus was married But when you start talking about the davinici code you lose most of your credibility. A lot of Christians who disagree will attack your opinion simply because you use a book of fiction to site your sources. Instead I recommend you should do your own research and find real history debates, articles, journals to back up what you say.
Other than that, i think its important that jesus was married because it makes him human and sense christianity is based that jesus was god, not a religous leader, they try to hide it. It also gives validity to women so that they can become religious leaders as well, and not just leave it to the men.

Your point is well taken. There isn't a reason in the world why it should make a bit of difference, and the objections that many have proposed against the idea seem contrived at best.

You seem to be forgetting that "The Da Vinci Code" is a work of FICTION. Be that the case, why are you even considering the possibility anything in that book is THEOLOGICALLY accurate?

If he was married, it would be strong evidence that he was not the son of God.
