Here's a problem I need your help with: I am starting to like my best friend. The more time I spend with him, the stronger my feelings get. I am really shy and have already attempted to approach him about this before. At that time, he was dating someone else (and I didn't know it)... so I told him that I liked him, but he didn't really respond. Now, two months later, he is single again and I still find that I like him. Not sure what to do ... should I say something again? Or let him make the move this time? Or have we gone past that point where anything but a friendship is possible?

the last thing you'd want is for him to reject you and lose him as a best friend. telling him that u like him isnt the best way to go because he may have only really seen you as just that. a best friend or a really good friend. my guess is that he'll continue to respond the way that he has towards you but after he's had enough of the girlfriends he has had in the past, he would come to you and ask you if you still like him, to which you should respond with no. saying yes would only prevent him from asking you out because knowing that you like him. im in a situation myself where there's this guy who i've known since i was 4 yrs old and i never really thought anything of him until high school, and by that time, he thought i was joking about me liking him, and he continued to live his life. i recently told him how i've felt towards him for all these yrs and i didnt get any response. i've always seen him as cute until recently where i actually liked him, but it's irrelevant now. i should have told him in the beginning when i knew he liked me how i felt towards him, and if i had a time travel, i would go back to that moment in time where i could tell him and get a positive response. this relationship is past that point where anything can happen besides a friendship. im also in another situation with a guy completely different. the 1st day we met, we couldnt stop staring at each other, and we'd have fun chasing each other, having drinks, and when we were at the pub, he kissed me. i actually thought that he could potentially actually like me, and when i saw him again, he definitely gave the impression that he did. now he's completely denying the situation ever happened and calling me a liar, saying that he'll never like me anything past the point of friendship. had i got the chance to do a do-over, i would have never allowed for him to kiss me and let it get that far

How much do you cherish him as a friend? if you two ever had a relationship you could lose him as a friend forever. Or, you could spend the rest of your life with him. You have to decide what is most important to you. You have already expressed your feelings, now it is his turn. he knows how you feel. Let him come to you. If he doesn't then you know where you stand.

You've already express your feelings to him in the past and he didn't response so as of now leave it. Maybe he wants to be left alone. So give him his space. Don't push him. Be there for him as a fren. Maybe with time and your support, he mite have a change of heart and treat you more than a fren.

Suggest you wait for him to make the first move. Have some quality time together as best friends and make him realize that you are a good catch :)

Well, try steering the conversations towards your feelings. But remember to use the hazard light and watch out for potholes. If the road seems bumpy, slow down.

ask him if he remembers u telling him how u really feel when no one is around! then if he says yes asks him what he thinks of u! if he says no then remind him and see if u get the same reaction if u do then u know that u to r only meant to be friends and nothing more.

I would just tell you to go and tell him but make sure the two of you are alone together so you can tell him how u feel and everything!

Try touching his hand. If he moves, that shows he is not interested. If his doesn't, maybe you can ask him if he wanted to see a movie with you tonight?
