nah, don't worry about it, i've got 7 tattoos and the only one that had some fading was when i picked some of the scab off!
if they are coming off in bed its fine, its not like you're forcing it off, it's happening more naturally, so it's like it's time to come off, if that makes sense?
the tattoo place should have given you something like vaseline to rub over it, for my last tattoo i used preperation H... (fun to buy as its hemerroid stuff)

This is completely natural. It just means that your tattoo is healing. The only time a tattoo will fade or have the color leave completely in spots is if you pick the scabs off and it bleeds, the bleeding forces the ink out with it. I have five tattoos and the only one that looks bad is the one where I picked. Only use oinment for the first day or so. It needs to breathe after that so that it can dry out and heal. Use a good unscented lotion after that 2 or 3 times per day and it should be great. If there are any problems that you are concerned about go back to your artist and they can either tell you what to do or fix it if it's completely healed. But go back within 2 or 3 weeks or else they will probably not do anything for you. Gauruntees can only be for so long. Most places offer one touch up after it's healed.
Good luck and hoped that helps.

Hi if you pick the scab then you will make the colour come off with the scab. Put vaseline on so that the scab wont go hard and get caught. My finace had one done a while a go and the guy said to use savlon or vaseline, and in a few days as the scab was soft it came or, but dont be alarmed if the scab is colour as its just excess in, but if you notice any white patches or parts missing that you have accidently picked then you might need to go and get these re -done

It doesn't matter, they are supposed to fall off naturally anyway. Put lots of moisturiser on it, anything will do that hydrates the skin, and keep doing so for a week until the last scabs have fallen off. Your tattoo won't fade, this is a natural process. All tattoos fade a little with time anyway; especially if it's in an area that will be exposed to sunbathing. You are right not to pick though, if it itches just put more cream on it.

The guy who did mine advised me to keep it clean, moisturised and covered up for four days after getting it done. Even after that, he recommended gently rubbing a little E45 cream into it every day for a week, to keep it moist.
Keeping the skin clean and hydrated, and not picking at it, seems to be the key thing. That way less of it will flake off. If your skin dries up too much, a bigger scab will form and it'll suck up all the ink into itself. Then you'll have to get some of it redone and go through the whole process all over again, albeit slightly less painfully this time.

Use cling wrap the stuff used to cover food. Put on some nappy rash cream first and then tape the cling wrap up at each corner make sure the cling wrap is bigger than the Tattoo. this is a really good way to protect it. I was told this by my tattooist. but this is only for the the first 5 days or so. Also where ever you have your tattoo try to let the air at it this helps with the healing. Good Luck.

it may well make them fade as most tattooists advise against knocking them off. my tattooist told me to use a nappy cream called lahneham it's a white tube with pale blue and pale pink on it. i've used it on all of my tattoos and it works it also stops the itching. they told me to use it three times a day and when it's itch, i didn't end up really scabbing because of the cream i would advise you to use the cream for upto seven or eight days after you've had your tattoo done.

Oh don't worry!
I had a tattoo and it started flaking like fish food. It got a little itchy too but kept a cotton padding on the tattoo to protect it also vaseline till the scabs eventually all fell off.
It is part of the healing process.

its good that it has scab on it, but your body wouldnt part with the scab unless it was healing, so dont worry, try putting cocoa butter on your tattoos seriously, much better than savlon and stuff.keeps your skin lovely too. it wont cause fading the ink is alread under your skin this is just the healing process on the outside.

With my tattoos i used A&D ointment this kept them from drying up. So when your tattoo rubs againt your covers or when your are turning over this will decrease the the skin from coming off too early so that your tattoo wont look faded. It will effect the darkness of that tattoo at the place i go too they are very aware of that so they tell me if your tat fades your have 45 days to come back and get it touched up for free. maybe ask your tattoo parlor if they have anything like that just incase it does fade.
