Nope, I'm happy where I'm at... I'm 6'0" and that is about right. Only when driving small cars did I wish to be shorter and sometimes on airplanes but I never really wanted to be taller.

I will say this... if I was about 2" taller I could easily changed a light bulb in an 8 foot ceiling. I can do it now but it takes so much straining that a step ladder is better... ditto the air filters in the ceiling.

Hey, is that little 4 foot kid around here again claiming that she's 5ft 6 and 18 again?

I'm a woman and 5'11. In high school all I wanted was to be a few inches shorter. Now I've adjusted and quite like being tall. It is hard to find clothes, though. Most shirts show at least a little tummy and even some long pants aren't long enough, but other than that it's great.

I would like to be about 2 inches taller. I'm 5'3" or used to be but think people shrink a bit with age and yes, not being able to reach things can be a problem especially since I have Parkinson's Disease and it's not real safe for anybody to climb on a stool but especially for those who have more of tendency to fall.

At just 5ft 2ins I think I am too short. I can't reach the top shelves at the supermarket or the top cupboards in my kitchen. Clothes are all too long but if I go for kids sizes they are too young looking or I'm too fat for them! The worse thing is armchairs and sofas as if I sit back comfortably my legs just swing in the air. Buses too as the seats are too high and I can't touch the floor and have to jump off at the bus stop!

I just wish that I was a little taller...

I don't mind being short (as in jokingly called "shorty", and all the things that come with being short) but what I don't like is to keep having to look up when I'm talking to someone. If I'm talking to someone, then I like to talk eye-to-eye, not having to tilt your head back a little.

Equal footing for everyone.

(As for high heel and platform shoes, Debzzy, they are ARTIFICIAL, and don't really represent you.)

I should be 5'11. I have long legs but a very short back. From under arm to waist I measure 9.5inches, I am 5'6, my feet are size 8's and i have very large hands. I'm female. I may sound like a freak ha ha but I'm not. A specialist said I should be 5'11. I really really wish I was.

No, I am happy with my height, around 5f 4in, I never have to adjust any of the clothes I buy, trousers always are the right length, I am standard size.
