Why does it feel so akward talking to my ex? I ran into her today and we just said hi to eachother and then she tried to smile at me but it turned quickly into an almost whatever look. Why is it so akward? We used to have plenty of things to talk about and now its just feels wiered.

I make it a point to sever any communication with any ex-wife or girlfriend. It is better that way.

Maybe its a passing phase. Also it's better this way cos it makes it easier to get over the other person. I've gone thru the same phase but over time, we tend to grow and forget plus forgive and now i can talk non stop to all my ex. Hopefully u will too in the future

It is very normal or common to be awkward when seeing an X.
Best to just say hi and move on. No need to small talk.
It feels awkward becasue you used to be very close and now you are almost like strangers. There are some hurts and lost expectations.

Because at one point you shared your life together and now you live seperate lives. Sharing is what you guys are used to now you don't share anything.
