Lokasenna,

I'm not looking for personal attackers. If you're able to comment logically/reasonably, I suggest you try the door.

PS. The purpose of catholicism is to use islam to destroy the christians and then take over the promised land from the jews.

David Icke? *snickers* Have you actually bothered to read any of his books? He believes that the people controlling the world are really reptilian aliens. I really do not think he is a credible source.

That being said, no Islam was not born from Catholicism, you need to study your history. Catholicism was born in Rome and Islam was born in the Middle East. They do share similarities because they are both monotheistic religions and they are both Abrahamic in origin. There basic theologies however have distinctive differences; namely Catholics view their Deity as a Holy Trinity whereas Muslims see their Deity as whole unto himself.

(Damn, you are impatient, I was typing my answer and I wasn't "personally attacking" you either. I just think its funny that out of all the sources you could have used, you picked a conspiracy theorist. And yes, I did look at your link and no, it was not convincing.)

Lol Islam also has lot in common with Judaism if not more so. Look if you want to prove the Quran and Islam a false religion it's very simple the Allah provides a falsification test:

“And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down on Our slave, then produce a surah thereof and call upon your witnesses other than God, if you should be truthful. But if you do not – and you will never be able to – then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the unbelievers.” (Quran 2:23-24)

There you have it bring one sura like it. This challenge has stood for over 1400 years yet no one can meet it. And you're telling be about David "Crazy, make sure those strap are on tight" Icke?

Please do not believe everything you read on the web. There's a reason God chose to bless the man with a name that sounds like "icky". Thanks for pointing out the website though, I have a place to go whenever I need a laugh.

More seriously though, you have to remember that at the time Mohammed started inventing his religion, Christianity and Catholicism were the same thing, the world wouldn't see a Protestant for another 1000 years. In order to make his religion more palatable, he incorporated many Catholic traditions, much in the same way Christians allowed pagans to continue decorating trees for the winter solstice. Only the name of the holiday changed.

Islam was born from Muhammed. Muhammed was the only prophet that talked about Islam. What's confusing to Muslims about Islam is that Muhammed also included names like Jesus and Mary in the Koran. He should have created his own unique religion. Mary and Jesus were in Israel. Yet, the nation of Israel is nowhere in the Koran. The Koran doesn't make very much sense if you think about it. Jesus and Mary are not even Muslim names.

Under no circumstances is Jehovah, the God of the Bible, and Allah, of the Koran, the same. First of all, the God of the Bible is a God of love and redemption, who sent His Son into the world to die for our sins. Allah tells people to die for him in order to get salvation, but there is no understanding of salvation. Allah was the moon god from Mecca. That is why Islam has the crescent moon. The flag of Turkey has a crescent moon with a star in it. Well, the crescent moon is because Allah was the moon god, and that is the deal. But we don't serve a moon god. We serve the God of creation, the Creator of everything.
They are not the same. To translate Allah as God is wrong. When you see something in there and it says Allah, you translate it Allah. Don't call it God because it is different. God is Elohim. He is the Creator, the Jehovah God, Yahweh. Yahweh of the Old Testament was the Father who brought forth Jesus into the world.

The eastern cornerstone of the Kaaba is the Hajar el Aswad, (the sacred "Black Stone"), which is generally thought to be a meteorite remnant.
At the time of Muhammad, his tribe, the Quraysh was in charge of the Kaaba, which was at that time a shrine to numerous Arabian tribal gods.

and lastly the god of islam demands that you believe in him like a spoiled child......

the true god does not and rightfully so..... true faith and true love is not forced but is freedom of choice....
