Have you figured out what your style is? Are you looking for an elegant look or more casual? Sunflowers are more casual, but you can get them in silk too and they look very real. Miniature Calla Lilies are really elegant and come in a variety of deep rich colors and look really pretty just in a hand bouquet by themselves and tied with a ribbon. You really should go to a florist that is recommended by someone in your area that has seen their work and have a consultation. They are usually free and you should ask for pictures of their work (not generic pictures in a book, but their actual work) and letters from previous brides. Also ask for references of previous brides, phone numbers if they'll give them so you can ask in person how they were. Don't be afraid of your budget either, a good florist will work with you. Good luck and Congratulations!

i would suggest to go to a few different florists in your area and just look through images of what other arrangements they did previously (most florists have these to give new customers an idea of how their work looks like) and then ask them what types of flowers are available during fall, that way it might be cheaper if you need lots for the wedding. Usually, I think florists may try to raise the price for "wedding bouquets" and "wedding" anything so just let them know you are interested in shopping around for a party bouquet or something.
But I do think that sunflowers are nice because they have a variety of orange, reds, and yellow or red/orange dyed daisies.for a casual look. For a more elegant look, you can choose red roses, orange roses, mums, dahlias, ranuculus in shades of red, orange, yellow and maybe some calla lilies for a bit of white. Happy Planning!

you can get the fall colored silk flowers most of the time becuase a lot of those colors are used in home decor, but you will have a better selection as fall approaches...with silk any flowers in your colors that are high quality will be fine, check out www.save-on-crafts.com, they have alot of really great silk flowers at good prices, I made silk topiary balls for my reception adn ordered 400 silk gerber daisies from them and was more than pleased
as far as yours, go to a florist and get her to show you some things, bring pics of what you like and she can tell you whats in it, that will be the easiest thing for you. I highly reccomend the calla lillies that are the rust color, circus roses (yellow wiht a red/orange tip) green hypericum berries, mini gerberas in orange, red alstromeria all together, it would be really pretty I promise, take those names to a florist and she could help a lot!

Peach colored roses (which are orange-ish) are quite pretty in my opinion!! I had some recently that were a dark peach color. Roses are generally used in wedding bouquets. I had daisies also in mine, but that was a summer wedding, so that won't help you.
I can't stand it when I see these beautiful brides that have decide to hold flowers with long stems hanging down. thats modern. I don't like it. I like flowers in a round bouquet or hanging down from the bouquet. Not Long Lilies or whatever they use with the green stems sticking out. Yuck. Ever see that before?

This site has wonderful ideas. It links you to other florists and you can look through all the bouquest with the colors you want. If you are unsure of a flower name, just print it out to hand to your florist, and they should and will know what it is. Personally for a fall wedding, I like gerbera daisies, calla lillies and roses.....Good luck and I hope you find something you like on this site....I found tons of stuff!

For a fall theme......I'd go with Sunflowers. They're not in just yellow, there's also burgundy, orange, etc. or Gerbers are pretty colorful.

I suggest visiting weddinglenox.com and post your request. Their matching system http://www.weddinglenox.com/membersignup1.php will match you up with local vendors with pricing you specified. I tried it and have good result as I only recieved response from vendors according to my request.
One problem I had with my wedding is that it is hard to locate vendors in most website as most likely they group by states and there are too many of them that's too far from me and I have to look at each site to figure out.
The sites I provide above have a easy to use layout to show you pictures, pricing and location in one page plus, you can send out your inquiry for matching vendor to contact you. That save me lots of time to locate the best vendors with the right price.
