Friend,

there are several such quotations, which contrdict, seemingly, one another.

One has to see and observe in which context the quotation was used.Without reference to this situation when it is used, it looks meaningless and may mistake it too.

We see such things as ;
1.Haste is a waste( Nidaanamey prdhanamu...That is not to hurry but make a calculated move with awareness)

2.Hurry worries

3.Slow and steady makes the race win.

4.Time and tide will not wait for you or anybody.

5.Don't pracrastinate (postpone ) things.Do it immediately.

so in that way there are hundreds of quotations which appear to be not at all complementary.
But if you know the entire story or episode where it has been used, then you get the real meaning and will be able to apply in life correctly.
Suppose a boy is always playing without touching his books though the exams are fast approaching. The father of the boy says'' what is this you are doing?..go and read , then only you will pass in the exams''
The boy then starts reading day and night without any play or recreation or ather activity.the father observes for two days and says''What is this always readind and reading and reading.Go and play for some time.''
The boy is perplexed..what does Father mean?..Does he want me to Read or Play?
There should a balanced way of reading and playing.
So all the quotations are ''WISDOM EXPRESSED IN A FEW WORDS''

so it is for us to understand and act accordingly.

no i dont think this proverb is completely true as u cannot be slow in this fast pace competent world but you definately need to be steady t win your goals otherwise the world may run ahead of you leaving you far behind from where u may not reach the top.

this proverb is only good for the rock climbers.

I have Ps 33:10-11 & Pr 19 :21 is marked along with Pr 16:1-- yes, its 100% dependable against what we see & feel. His Word is a Tower for refuge. As regards Sin -paid -yes indeed but its effective for those who ask & recieve Forgiveness through Christ, by Grace ,without works. Then put Faith in action.

Yes, you can be slow but you can't do so ooooooo...... that you don't complete your assignments in time . though you can be slow not lazy. you should be answerable whenever asked for the results. If you will be blank you will be fired.
