Why are you talking to your friends about Jesus in the first place?
-If they have already made it clear that they do not want to hear about Jesus by "scoffing" at you, then stop talking about it!!!

This is a common conversation:
Person A: blah blah blah point A
Person B: blah blah blah I disagree
Person A: Ok

This is a common conversation with someone who believes in Jesus:
Person A: blah blah blah Jesus is God, blah blah blah
Person B: blah blah blah I disagree
Person A: Well you are simply uneducated, unknowing, unseeing, unlearned, unskilled, unloving, uneducated, here let me teach you since I know everything about God and Jesus, blah blah blah
Person B: Just leave me alone man, I have my own beliefs
Person A: Well if your beliefs do not include Jesus, then your beliefs are wrong blah blah blah.

When I was in high school (1970's) there were a few Christians running about. I scoffed at them regularly. They continued to carry their Bibles and one in particular would call me, talk to me, and answer my questions. Usually I ended up scoffing all the more. I made him cry once.

I became a Christian the year I graduated high school, although most of those I scoffed at never knew. I ran into the one guy a few years later and he was glad to know I had become a Christian.

I am still walking with the Lord 28 years later.

My advice to you is this, continue to stand strong and speak up. And pray daily for friends before you go to school.

Be encouraged by Isaiah 55:10,11
As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

I believe everyone has the right to their own faith and beliefs. In high school if you a strng christian follower you usually face adversity if you do what is professed in the weekley sermons, bring the word of God unto others. In a high school setting it is hard to express your love God let alone unto others. I recommend you have a serious discuss out religion in our modern society especially with our greneration with the people who scoff- since you said they were your friends- this will make an even playing field and you can all understand each other *******************************************************************OR you could just say "Jesus loves you" after everything they say...

Make sure when you talk about jesus, it's a personal thing, not something you're shoving down their throats. If you're talking about jesus all the time, they'll probably get annoyed. the same would be true if you kept talking about something else all the time. if they are truly your friends, they should respect your beliefs. in high school it's best to act like christ in a setting where teens are starting to test moral boundaries. you'll stand out in a good way.

If they were your friends they wouldn't scoff at your beliefs. The bible says that false prophets will come and people will scoff at those that believe in Him. You reply to them, " I respect your beliefs and don't belittle them, I expect the same in return". If they don't take the hint, find new friends. Those people will never respect you and I have a feeling you are better than that.

Your friends were picked by you alone. I
f they are not such good friends and in your words, "They scoff at what you say about Jesus!"
Then you need to reassess your friendship with them.
How much do you value you friends?

My christian friends are mostly proud people. They like to bully others and have late night parties.

I dont mix around with them anymore. Even the pastor discriminate others.
