I am unable to send a document in word format.It only sending rich text format?

My friend *.rtf(rich text format) is the extension of a word file only. You had a misunderstanding.

to send .doc format you need to use Wordpad that comes with xp or have microsoft office installed onto your pc. The person receiving these files you're sending to them must also have the same programs.

save the documents in one file in word format and attach that file in Email
