the idea of a first man is nonsense, like the idea of divine creation.
men evolved slowly from hominids, who evolved from primates, etc.
From study of human DNA all humans descended from one woman and 4 men, who lived approximately 200000 years ago, most likely in Africa (that does not mean that that Genetic "Eve" mated with these 4 men, but that she, and her children, over several generations, introduced 4 males into that small pool of humans, that we all came from).
