I suppose we should use discernment, when we speak our thoughts.
If I was to explain to a farmer, how a telescope is made....he would probably not appreciate the information. (unless he was interested in telescopes).
There's no point in explaining something to someone who doesn't care about, or have any interest in learning something different.

Because some people do not know the value of the truth anymore than a pig would know the value of a beautiful pearl! Some people would hear the truth and discard it as if it had no value, like pigs would trample a pearl underfoot in mud!

I'm not completely sure what this means, but speaking non-religiously, I think there are some people who won't believe anything unless they want to believe it. And even if there is evidence to support the truth, it's hard for most people to be objective.

Because finding the 'truth' is like nailing jelly to a tree. It's too slippery. And people have different ideas about what it is, and if it isn't to their current liking, they reject it. Like trying to eat pearls of wisdom. Doesn't taste good to a lot of people, especially those who have already made up their minds.

It depends, scientists have been throwing truth and knowledge at Christians for centuries, but they usually just excommunicate them. Good thing those scientists were wrong about the heliocentric solar system, wouldn't want the "swine" to be too upset about revolving around the sun and all.

The "truth" is only your version of it, and the people appear to YOU to be swine because they don't agree with your version of delusion.
"Truth" requires evidence, not a fallible book.
