The One True God is all knowing, eternal, omnipresent, omnipotent, sovereign. In Genesis when Adam and Eve were tricked into doing evil, the scripture says that God said that the man and woman now know good and evil so they were to leave the garden so they would not eat of the Tree of Life and live forever. Read the whole story in Genesis 3:21 God said, See, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. ...verse 23 God, sent him out of the garden of Eden ....
Mankind was not to know evil only good. But, to know good and evil has put death on mankind, they started to die immediately.
In the first chapters of Job it says that satan came to stand before God. God is not afraid of satan or any evil and can coexist with anything good or bad. It is mankind that can not survive with evil and God knew this, man is frail, mankind is not God, but God loves mankind so He sent Jesus to buy mankind back.

Evil is no where near God. To be presented before God, you must not appear evil. This is why the blood of Jesus covered us; so that through acceptance,of the gift of salvation; through the repentance and acceptance that you are seeking to find Him; and that you want to turn your life around, and find true wisdom, true love, the meaning of your life; that you do not know all; only He does. And put your faith, in knowing that Jesus saved you. He promises to send the Holy Spirit to guide you. The more you stay in obeidiance, the closer you get to be to God. Your life, becomes new, and you feel like you never want to be where you were. I know stresses in lifemake hard to findtime to devote to personal growth; I know. But that it makes it all the more important to have a light, a guide, a teacher, a couselor, a comforter; a savior. Hei s all He's cracked up to be and so much more. The devil is not in heaven with God, he is here. He was kicked out of heaven. He took over as ruler of this world when Adam and Eve ate from the tree that gave birth to their knowledge of sin. It infected them, when they ate of the fruit. That is why they were told not to. A curse. When they didn't know sin, God strolled through the garden with them in the evenings.

Good vs. evil...the eternal question. I'm spiritual but I'm not religious. But I do believe that good and evil is like Yin and Yang. It's all about balance. You can't appreciate the good without the bad. And it's not even about appreciation, it's about simple laws of physics: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. What's the grand plan? I can't even fathom a guess. Maybe a land without evil is what Heaven is all about and our soul has to experience the evil and negativity to truly appreciate the beauty of afterlife. But in the end, who knows? And until we evolve to such levels of enlightenment, we will continue to philosophize, guess, ponder, and argue over good vs. evil and God's role (if any) in it.

Is God evil? I always wonder this. If God is part of everything, and he is everywhere, then he must be part of all things good or bad. Thus, that would mean that God is part of evil, correct?
Maybe it is a sport. Who knows? I personally don't believe he exists, but I could very well be wrong.

Remember, evil is the attainment of something good for that person (like money, power etc.) but just doing it in the wrong way. People are good for the sake of being good. People are not evil just for the sake of it, they are trying to get something out of it.
Evil is totally independant of God and God gave us the freedom of choice to choose Him or the attainment of material things in the wrong way.

No we could not say that.
An omnipotent God cannot create a morally free person incapable of choosing to do evil. Sadly, persons choose accordingly.

Good and evil were defined by men and have different definitions in the various faiths there are in this world.
God does not exist, it's just another human idea/concept

No. God, via Jesus, died to forgive sin. Going through torture (crucifixion) and death doesn't seem like a very fun sport. God hates sin but loves the sinner.
