A lot of religions have tried to address this question. When you suggest a sport you are giving God the attributes of human beings that are not so good. Many religions do this also, create the character of God. They make God vengeful so that our vengefulness does not need correction. They make a God that makes their behavior look complete and acceptable. This is pretty bad for a divine being don't you think?
I think God created us and gave use free will. This has resulted in our using this choice for better or worse. We are the good and the evil. What I know of God is that He wants us to be good.

God doesn't co-exist with evil (James 1:13), Satan was created perfect, as an angel, and later rebelled against God. Satan then took Adam and Eve down the same route, getting them to think that they would be better of choosing for themselves what was bad and good (Genesis 3:1-7).
James 1:13
When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone.
Genesis 3:1-7
Now the serpent proved to be the most cautious of all the wild beasts of the field that Jehovah God had made. So it began to say to the woman: “Is it really so that God said YOU must not eat from every tree of the garden?” At this the woman said to the serpent: “Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat. But as for [eating] of the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘YOU must not eat from it, no, YOU must not touch it that YOU do not die.’” At this the serpent said to the woman: “YOU positively will not die. For God knows that in the very day of YOUR eating from it YOUR eyes are bound to be opened and YOU are bound to be like God, KNOWING good and bad.” Consequently the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was something to be longed for to the eyes, yes, the tree was desirable to look upon. So she began taking of its fruit and eating it. Afterward she gave some also to her husband when with her and he began eating it. Then the eyes of both of them became opened and they began to realize that they were naked. Hence they sewed fig leaves together and made loin coverings for themselves.

According to the Bible God created evil.
(Isaiah 45:7, KJV) - "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."
(Amos 3:6) - "Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?"

What is evil?
God created people with free will. How can we have the free will to be good, without the free will to do bad? If your only choice is good, then it is no choice at all.
so...what exactly is evil again? just the other choice...and since God wants us to love him, we need to be able to choose...since you can't force love.

of direction God and what we pick to call evil coexist. The confusion stems from the thought that evil is something that God does in comparison to. If God is the source of each little thing that exists, the architect of all it is then the place did evil come from? the easy answer is that Evil or sin is against Gods will. the 1st element that somebody could be thinking is whether or no longer the assumption of sin is actual actual. If God is meant to be ideal how ought to She have made something or everyone that wasn't ideal. think of approximately it. the assumption of sin assumes particular issues approximately God that seem exceedingly no longer likely. First it assumes a God who's in simple terms too incompetent to establish a standard academic field expedition and be certain a thank you to get each and all the scholars residing house thoroughly. How probably is that this that God does no longer be sensible sufficient to return up with a plan for our salvation that is going to artwork one hundred% of the time? It additionally assumes that God could have created us imperfect if we are sinners. One could assume that God could have the potential to create somebody ideal every time if he chosen to. Assuming God is able to this, then it follows logically that we could be ideal creations if we are actual creations of this ideal God. till of direction you're saying that God chosen to create us imperfect. If God created us imperfect then something that could pass incorrect is Gods fault, no longer ours. This seems slightly illogical at maximum suitable so i think of that we could assume that What God creates could could be ideal. if it is the case and Gods creations are ideal, then no longer something that we are able to do ought to alter what God created ideal and make it imperfect till we expect of that we are extra effectual than God is. How probably is it that we the introduction must be extra effectual than the writer. i individually discover this concept rather exciting, and slightly absurd. faith tells us that God is ideal. If it is authentic then it ought to no longer often be logically for Gods creations to be seen to be something below ideal. if it is the case and we are ideal creations of a ideal God then no longer something that we are able to ever do ought to probable replace this perfection that God willed, till we've been so effectual that our possibilities ought to override and alter the will of God. How probably is that???? think of approximately it. Love and reward don

Epicurus had something to say on this subject:
"If God is willing to prevent evil, but is not able to, Then He is not omnipotent. If He is able, but not willing, Then He is malevolent. If He is both able and willing, Then whence cometh evil? If He is neither able nor willing, Then why call Him God?"
