What happened in Jesus' life between the ages of 18 and 30?

The "contradictions" everyone keeps talking about are occasionally because of the problems created when one language is translated from another. They also seem to disappear when one considers the culture of the time the books were written or if considered within the context they are written,.

The events of Jesus' life between the ages of 18 and 30 are not well documented because he hadn't begun his ministry. There is also a Jewish tradition that says he had to wait until he had fulfilled the obligations to his family.

The recorded ages you mentioned that were in the hundreds have been explained many ways. To me the most logical explanation is that they counted time differently. Remember, the current calendar was not used until the Middle Ages. It's possible what we call a year may have been 2, 3, or even 4 years to the ancients.

The lifespan of Hebrews during Biblical times was actually longer than other civilizations of the time. Archeology suggests there was less disease about the Hebrews and they were healthier, probably because of the strict diet they followed. It's a diet we could benefit from in today's society.

God doesn't only exit in the Bible but you need to be willing to actually interact with Him before you can recognize that.

Which "contradictions" are you talking about? Do you even know of any specific ones, or is it simply what you've heard?
Why is what Jesus did relevant in those years? They would have been before He really started His ministry.
The Bible was written by a variety of people through divine inspiration.
Why do you assume that the average life span was thirty years? It's possible that people lived so long back then because they were originally created with perfect genetic information, and over subsequent generations mutations would have shortened lifespans.
How do you know that God only "exists in the Bible"? Simply because He hasn't taken any action that you are aware of does not mean that no action has been taken.
