That's an easy question. It's hard to find men who will willingly give up sex for the rest of their lives. So they find sexual release with children (DISGUSTING). So now they have a choice, throw the guy out of the priesthood or cover up the problem. If they threw out every pedophile priest there would be seven priests left in the world. So they cover it up to keep their stupid religion going.
And the idea of a priest without sex is relatively new. Really. That was invented during the dark ages or just after it.

Jesus did not deliver any women folk apostles is reason that the Apostolic Roman Catholic Church. Apostolic potential Apostles, Catholic potential time-honored, and Roman Church potential the state faith of Rome. simply by fact Jesus did not deliver women folk, women folk at the instant are not monks. Anglican Church (Church of england) states that provided that Jesus did not forbid sending lady as apostles, lady could be priest. an identical argument is discover to justify the two positions. indexed under are the data. Ordination is a sacrament administered by using bishops. basically bishops can ordain priest and bishops. the 1st Anglican bishops have been ordained by using Roman Catholic bishops, so any lady ordained a clergyman or bishop by using an Anglican bishop is likewise a Roman Catholic priest or bishop. it somewhat is the Vatican that doesn't settle for his or her own lady monks and bishops.

A few rotten apples doesn't make the whole tree bad. The tree will survive and go on living. The tree was planted by Christ 2,000 years ago. We do not condone bad priests. We remove them from the ministry. We do not put up with evil priests. They are like any one of us. We are all sinners. If you are telling me that Protestant ministers are all good, you are living in a dream world. Bad priests have no place in active ministry. We remove them.

Pastor Billy says: you've been fooled by secular atheist media and anti-catholic sources.
Would you say that after reading this website Protestantism also puts up with sucj evil behavior in ministry? http://www.reformation.com
how about general society does it put up with the same abuses which occur even more readily?

Do you refer to those priests who like boys? Believe it or not, but the majority of priests aren't child molesters.
There will always be bad apples, and in a church that is always short a little man power, there is some incentive to downplay the dark side...

The Church itself doesn't. The scandal created a crisis of faith among its members. 96% of our priests have not been involved in the scandal. The priests involved & the bishops who turned a blind eye are paying for their sins literally & they certainly will be paying for them in eternity.
In my diocese, priests who were known to be child molesters were removed from parishes. Many of them were removed from the priesthood.
As a result of the scandal, there were 3 priests found to have been molesters & they were removed.
The pedophile priests consisted of 4% of all priests--over a 50 yr period.

Very simple. It was based on evil, a countefeit system to destroy Jesus and his message.
You have to remember that Jesus threatened to destroy the Satanic Sadducee system of deceit whereby men who claimed to be superior spiritually and wore white, were actually supremely evil ( a bit like today.)
In response, the High Priests and St Paul formulated a counter movement called christianity and here are its 2000 yr old objectives:
That Paul of Tarsus (St. Paul) aided by Josephus ben Matthias (St. Luke) and other members of the House of Ananus did set up an unlawful enterprise called “Christianity” for the sole purpose of pursuing criminal activities according to the following objectives:
1. Render the Gnostic teachings of Jesus and the Nazarenes ineffective by producing a counter religion claiming to be the only true faith that focuses on simplistic symbolism, conformity and a hatred of knowledge.
2. Perpetuate the strength and credibility of canonical Jewish sacred texts created by Jeremiah, Baruch, Nehemiah and Ezra by incorporating these texts as a key part of the liturgy of the religion.
3. Destroy all texts, references to Gnosticism and any evidence to history that threatens objective 1 or 2.
4. Where is not possible to destroy, re-write the evidence that contradicts claims.
5. Usurp all members of Jesus’s family and disciples and where possible ensure their death.
6. Structure the church so that the House of Ananus, the former Jewish High Priests and its descendents along with other selected Sadducee Jewish families maintain effective control over the church and are able to continue satanic rituals and human sacrifice with impunity.
7. Curse every “sheep” that chooses to follow Christianity blindly unaware of the god they truly worship.
We are not talking about a few rotten apples, or even a few rotten apple trees, but a 2,000 year old family owned orchard producing poison apples for general consumption!

"Evil behavior" is everywhere, the churches are not immune from it. And it is not just in the RC church, the others have the same problem, it just doesn't get the same attention.

As it was explained to me by a catholic priest:
It would cost too much money if they were forthright about it.
